    Preface

This will be a story with anime/manga-like characters with inspirations from Dragonball, DBZ, Final

Fantasy VII, the Gundam Series, and maybe a l ittle bit of Saint Seiya. I have decided that I want my story

to be based on the mythology, religion and culture of the indigenous people of the Americas. You know

that tells about their origins, their culture, their mysteries, their wars, and various other conflicts

I want it to be mainly based on Aztec Culture, but with maybe a few references to other indigenous

tribes in both North and South America and maybe some cultural references from China, since the

indigenous people are believed to originate from Asia.

    Prologue

Thousands of years ago, man had seemed to reach a new dawn. Man was beginning to gain intelligence

and make tools. Tools for hunting, tools for gathering, tools for making fire, tools for transportation. This

revolutionized man for years to come and have made possible for man to travel great distances and

    hunt animals.

    Story

Some nomadic tribes invent and discover new tools. The tools that they created they were using

them for hunting. One day, when hunting for animals they realize they are lost that they are no longer in

their own land. Little do they know is that they accidentally went into a new continent while attempting

    to hunt for animals.

They scatter across the American continent. One of the tribes (later known as the Aztec) lived

somewhere in the North (Somewhere in Utah, around Salt Lake). They gradually emigrate south to find

    better land.

The Aztecs eventually find a home that seems promising. It is where it is now present day

Mexico. There is a huge lake surrounded by huge monstrous mountains. An Eagle appears out of the

horizon and finds a cactus in the center of the lake. There is a snake on top of the cactus and the eagle

grabs and eats the snake and flies away. One of the leaders of the clan says that this is where they will

    settle.

The Aztecs make an island in the center of the lake and it gradually expands, and after 50-100

years, they create a really large and powerful megalopolis with houses, buildings, infrastructure andmilitary superior to any other tribe in the continent.

This was at the peak of their prosperity. The population was said to be anywhere from 4-8

million and about a total of 30-60 million inhabitants in the Valley of Mexico. They had a vast, powerful

empire that governed and controlled many of the local tribes such as the Toltec, Maya, Olmec, Mixtec,

Zapotec, Tarascan, Huichol, and many others around the Valley of Mexico. The Aztecs never forcefully

made them slaves or any of that nature. The Aztecs actually made them do stuff and cooperate through

moral persuasion, rather than force, and actually offered them incentive and other forms of

compensation. The Tarascans did the fishing, the Toltecs helped with the engineering, and so on, and

they would receive in exchange maize, chili peppers, good luck charms, rituals/dances, necklaces,

bracelets, and many other stuff as incentives.

In some random, ordinary day a boy is playing ball with his friends in the streets of the city of

Teutihuacan and one of his friends tossed the ball really hard and it went into the thick forest/jungle.

The boys are very scared to go into the dark forest. They reluctantly go in there and one of the boys find

a box like stone of a picture of a creature half bird, half snake. They observe the box and finally open it.

The sky turns dark and out bursts a very strong luminescent light and appears the God Quetzalcoatl. It is

a beautiful creature, with a thin, slender snake like figure that rose up into the sky and stood for a while

way up in mid air with its feathers that brightly illuminated the night sky and radiated a thousand colors.

The 3 little boys were the first to witness the appearance of Quetzalcoatl. After about a couple

of minutes, the boys begin to speak to the mighty feathered serpent and ask him what he is and what

his intentions are. The feathered serpent delivers his message and says

I come in peace. I am the feathered serpent Quetzalcoatl, the god of all gods. I am the one who

watches all of you humans. I am the one who truly governs these lands. I have noticed and appreciated

the achievements of you Aztecs, however do not over work the other tribes or they will rebel against your

tribe and you Aztecs will suffer serious consequences afterward

The boys return to their homes afterwards and the next day, they tell their parents and the

towns folks about their encounter with Quetzalcoatl. Nobody believed them and they thought they

were crazy or just trying to be silly, so the boys were laughed at and nobody took them seriously.

In the following months, Famine, drought, insects eating the crops and other disasters occurred

and on top of the, the neighboring tribes were fed up with the Aztecs and they rebelled against them

and destroyed the crops, burned the fields, stole their animals, killed some people and raped the

women. They were pretty much leading the place into turmoil.

The Aztecs civilization was nearly destroyed, but not completely. Montezuma stepped in to

become Emperor and he over time restored order and had his men help and rebuild the civilization to its

original state. After a few months, the place was just like, if not better than how it was. Montezuma says

that the boys were right because he too has come in contact with the great Quetzalcoatl, and he

showed the people to come and follow him in the jungle, where Quetzalcoatl is.
