We have had a fun Red Nose Day raising money for those in need. We
will know how much we raised next week. In the afternoon we had a
disco, cake sale, football game and karaoke. We all had a great day.
Class 8 went to RAF Hendon and learnt about Bob the pilot and his open cockpit plane. We
tried on his flying gear, heard the sound of his engines and even smelt the oil from his en-
gines! We toured the museum and had a drink in the cafe. Well done to all members of Class
8 who were aviation ‘stars’ and played such an active part in their work shop! A big ‘thank
you’ to Toni who gave us such a great day!
We had an 18th birthday to celebrate in P1 with some fantastic ‘home
cooking!’
The lodge has a lovely new range of products this week including a the unique “Unicorn
Soaps” made with great care by Post 16 students..
Students from Class 1 and P2 went back in time at the Museum of Docklands. We explored
the old Victorian shopping street, dressed up and took our own photographs. This was the
first stage of our exciting ‘Artburst’ project, working with the Museum of Docklands and
Museum of London.
