In It Takes 4 To Tango, Candy has two meanings when it comes to her ”4″. The first meaning... she will take you through her 4 C’s of Leadership which are the importance of Confidence, Communication, Creativity and Change in the workplace, the second meaning…you will go on a brilliant exploration of personality styles that will make you think, laugh, even dance…and recognize your true self and others. This is NOT the Myers Briggs Personality Indica-tor, this is NOT the DISC test or even True Colors…Candy gets participants up and out of their seats and networking with other…ANIMALS (Chameleon, Lion, Lamb or Owl) just like them! This is an open and honest way for all the personalities to hear from one another about how to communicate better with other Animals, how to motivate them and which ANIMAL drives them the craziest and why…WITHOUT A TEST!

You’ll also learn to overcome personality differences that lead to prob-lems like communication breakdown, negotiation letdown, and delegation fall-down by learning the secrets to connecting and partnering with other personality styles.

People leave understanding how to treat people like THEY want to be treated and recognize that people are not difficult, they are just different.

Coding from the Manager’s Perspective

Track 2 - Coders - 1:00-2:30pm (1 hr 30 min)

Managers and Coders usually know how valuable a Cer-tified Professional Coder is to an organization. In case there’s any doubt this presentation will provide a more in-depth insight as to how intricately interwoven the man-ager and coder positions and responsibilities are.

Learning Points:Recognize the six primary bodies of knowledge/responsi-• bilities of a Manager

Realize that a Coder impacts, either directly or indirectly, • much of the Manager’s work

Retain an understanding that by working together Coders • and Managers build a much stronger practice

This presentation will take a look at areas of coding and packaging of charges that seem to be obvious but can really be looked at in several different ways.

Learning PointsReview some of the more uncommon coding situations.•

Create skills and an environment by which a coder or staff • member can feel comfortable requesting additional infor-mation or clarification.

Create an understanding for the coder to know that • researching and providing information to the practice is positive and necessary.

Create an interest in the coder to continue educating • themselves with ancillary and additional information nec-essary to perform their job in a professional manor.
