Maths‘Times Table Rockstars’ is proven to aid fluency and speed when learning multiplication and division facts. Your child has been given a log in to play games at home on the computer. In school, we practise recall of multiplication and division facts 3 times a week by answering a set of 60 multiplication and division questions. Regular access to the website will improve the speed and fluency of recall. The ‘Studio’ section of the website is a particularly good game to play.

Week 2 Research Indian patterns for our textile project – you will need one style you like to try and replicate

Learn a favourite poem to recite/perform to the class.Week 3 See picture task belowWeek 4 Choose an animal that has super hearing and explain a little about it. You

may want to think about these questions: What do you notice about their ears? Why do their ears prick up? Explain why you think their ears are a certain shape. You can present this information in a format of your choice.

Week 5 Choose either £1, £5 or £10 and make a list of items you would like to buy and their cost. Add them up and calculate the change you would get from the amount you have chosen above.

Week 7/8 Book Bingo card back in school Design and make 2 different musical instruments to share in school. Each
