Also this Friday our school students have the opportunity to become an audience when we host Mowbray Public School Concert Band. The school is currently on tour and will be performing for our students as part of their program.

This Thursday evening our school will be hosting an information evening and family barbeque for families considering starting school at Gundagai Public next year. This is a great opportunity for those who attend to meet our wonderful staff and find out about many of the exciting and innovative programs the school has to offer. It is also an evening where we meet some very excited children who are ready to begin Kindergarten in a supportive family environment.

This Friday Nick Tait will be speaking in the state finals of the Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition at the NSW Teachers Federation Conference Centre in Surry Hills, Sydney. After taking part in our school public speaking program earlier in the year, Nick has successfully spoke on a number of occasions and has now reached the state final exemplifying that students from small country schools are equally as articulate as their city counterparts. We are very excited for Nick to have such a wonderful opportunity and wish him the very best of luck on the day.
