Mark 8:22-26 King James Version (KJV) 22 And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and

besought him to touch him. 23 And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and

when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.

24 And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. 25 After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up:

and he was restored, and saw every man clearly. 26 And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor

tell it to any in the town.

Principle #1: When attempting to reach your goals get to where help can be found. Ask God and people (but mostly God).

Principle #2 & 3

23 And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.

Principle #2: Reaching your goals should lead you to a closer Walk with the Lord.

Principle #3: Trust God in whatever He wants to do for you.

Principle #4 – Know that God is interested in your view of where you see yourself. He is concerned with how you see yourself.

Principle #5

And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.

Principle #5 – Be honest about your assessment of yourself. If you are not honest about where you are, you won’t get to where you are going.

Principle #6 – Sometimes goals will only be achieved after more intimacy with God.

Principle #7

Principle #7 – Know that your goals are designed for the season you’re in. Just as you goals must be performed in their season, when the YOUR season is over, so is YOUR goal. Your goals have a SUNRISE and a SUNSET.

Even Jesus Goals had a season:

John 9:4-5 King James Version (KJV) 4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day:

the night cometh, when no man can work. 5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
