PARENT WORKSHOPAdvice to help ignite your child's futureOur 2020 conference offers a workshop that gives practical advice for parents as they guide their children on the journey from middle school to high school to college & career.

These are critical and exciting times so we highly encourage your participation in the parent workshop!

Please register early, this workshop fills to capacity quickly!

The AgendaWorkshops will include presentations by South Puget Sound Community College staff and local parent coach, Emily McMason, will focus on academic and non-academic ways to prepare your child for higher education, college funding source options, dual enrollment opportunities in high school and how you can support your student's growth during their formative years.

Parents in ClassroomsWe aim to minimize all distractions in the classrooms; we also ensure all adults in the workshops have gone through background checks. Parents who wish to stay on campus during the conference should plan to attend the Parent Workshop If a parent needs to accompany their children in the workshops, we ask that they receive advanced permission from organizers.

REGISTRATION INFORMATIONOnline Pre-Registration is REQUIRED for both students and parents. Register and pay via credit card at www.thurstonEYH.orgRegistration Deadline:Monday, March 2, 2020Register as soon as possible, student and parent workshops fill up on a first come, first serve basis.We will do our best to honor your workshop requests, but since this is not always possible, you may have a totally unexpected opportunity.There will be no on-site registration.

FeesConference Fee - $15Includes all materials, an information packet, a conference t-shirt, and a light lunch

Due to the size and nature of this event we are unable to accommodate dietary restrictions. Please bring an alternative lunch if necessary.
