Located on 206 acres in Hamilton County, Prairie View Golf Club is the only Robert Trent Jones, Jr. golf course in Indiana. Robert Trent Jones, Jr. blended 18 holes of traditional golf design into the natural beauty created by the rolling prairie, towering oaks and sycamores that characterize the site on the banks of the White River. A clear running stream that meanders through four holes, natural wetlands, and five serene lakes placed strategically throughout the course serve to complete a truly unique playing experience. Consistently rated among the top courses in Indiana, Prairie View Golf Club has hosted nearly all major Indiana PGA and Indiana Golf Association championships. In 2020, Prairie View will be the site of the Indiana PGA Tournament Series, Indiana/Kentucky/Ohio Tri-State Amateur, Women’s University of Indianapolis Fall Invitational and the Girls IHSAA State Finals.
WEATHER POLICYIn case of inclement weather, the outing will be rescheduled, if possible to an alternate date. No refunds will be issued for inclement weather.

All divot mix stations and ball washers are removedfrom the golf course. Our grounds crew will take care of those divots.
All bunker rakes are removedfrom the golf course. You didn’t want to be in the sand anyway, right?
Do not shake handswith other golfers before or after your rounds. Smiles and verbal affirmation are in these days!

MISSIONThe mission of the 500 Festival Foundation is to ensure relevance, reach, and sustainability of the 500 Festival’s mission to enrich lives and foster positive community impact and celebrate the Indianapolis 500.
The 500 Festival Foundation is a fully-charitable 501(c)3 organization dedicated to generating funds in support of the 500 Festival’s mission to produce life-enriching events and programs, fostering a positive community impact on the city of Indianapolis and state of Indiana. The Foundation has a specific interest in the advancement of the 500 Festival’s youth programs and initiatives to provide access to underserved communities. These interests include college scholarships for Indiana’s brightest college leaders, a free curriculum for our state’s 4th grade classrooms, and a free program designed to combat childhood obesity teaching kids the importance of leading a healthy, active lifestyle. The 500 Festival Foundation’s investments help enhance the lives of Indiana’s youth and provides a calendar of community activities that invite the participation of all Hoosiers and showcase Indianapolis on a glsobal stage.

Please Donate!Donated items can include gift certificates/cards, golf merchandise, items for goodie bags (quantity of 125) or other items approved by the Festival. (minimum value of $250).

Each team is made up of four players - Ladies will play off the RED tee markers and men off of the WHITE tee markers.
All players drive off every tee - After all team members have hit their tee shots, the team selects the best shot and all second shots are placed and played within one club length of the selected ball, not nearer the hole (not advancing the ball closer to the hole). - This procedure is repeated until the hole is completed. - For every short, you can lift, clean and replace the selected ball. - Wherever the ball lies, all shots must be taken from the same area condition (within one club length of the selected ball). For example, fairway on fairway, rough in rough, bunker in bunker, hazard in hazard. On the putting green - All balls must be placed no further than two to three inches (putter head length) from the selected ball, not nearer the hole (not advancing ball closer to hole). -All team members must putt before a second putt is taken. The first ball into the hole counts as the team score.
FORMATThe 500 Festival Chairman’s Cup, presented by Valeo Financial Advisors, LLC is a four-person team scramble.
SCRAMBLE RULES
MAXIMUM SCOREIn order to maintain an appropriate pace of play, once a player hits a shot in attempt to make a score of bogey, if that shot is not holed, the player will pick up the ball and a score of double-bogey is officially recorded for that hole.
HOW TO REGISTERAll registrations must be completed using our secure online registration system at the link below, where you will select your sponsorship level or register as a foursome, hole sponsor or individual for this year’s golf outing.
Once registration is received, an invoice will be mailed out and be paid via credit card or check. Checks should be made payable to the 500 Festival Foundation. The 500 Festival Foundation is a fully-charitable 501(c)3 Organization and your contribtuion may be tax deductible.
PAYMENT
