STUDENT COUNCIL NEWS – Molly Deming

This is the last week for Pennies for Patients! Our

school goal is $1500. You can set up a donation page

online at https://events.lls.org/pages/wa/Eagle-

Academy-Charter-School-2019

Students who have collected change/bills can bring it

into school and put it into their classroom collection

boxes. If each student collects just $8.50 we will reach

our goal!

On Wednesday, we will be doing a “Check Your

Change” drive at pick up time. Student Council

members will be out with collection bins to ask for the

spare change from your cup holders, dashboards and

glove boxes. Be prepared by throwing a couple

quarters in your cup holder ;)

SPIRIT DAY: In honor of the Science Fair we will

have Mad Scientist Day on Friday, March 29th. Find

your inner nerd, dress like a famous scientist or

Outdoor Learning Day – Mrs. Copping

May 10th is fast approaching! The Arctic

Orienteering Club is going to lead orienteering

activities for us again, and have requested we supply a

parent volunteer to copy maps before May 10th,

issue and account for compasses and tie controls

(orange and white baskets) to trees before the

activity begins, and take them down at the end of

the activity. Please contact Mrs. Copping if you can

help out during the orienteering activities from 9-1 on

Friday, May 10th at Camp Gorsuch. Thank you!!!

**ATTENTION PARENTS –Students are no longer

being required to have snow gear (hats, gloves boots,

pants + coat). BUT – they DO need to have proper

gear to remain DRY (rain boots, rain pants and water

proof jacket). Please make sure your student has these

items before dropping them off in the morning.
