55+ Bowling

The 55+ bowlers met December 2nd. We had 3 bowlers and 2 spectators. Frank Tittle had the best luck of all the bowlers and ended up

with the best score for the day with Buck Buckner a very close second. The 55+ bowlers will meet again on January 6, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. If you would like a good time and a little exercise, please join the 55+ Bowlers on

December 2nd at 10:00 AM at the Cookeville Bowling Alley. We bowl a couple of games and are usually finished just before noon. If interested and you want more information call, text or e-mail John Shaffer 931.261.3538 or email at [email protected].

Dear Church,

Thank you for participating in the Small Group Ministry of First Baptist Church. Beginning in January we will take a very important and excit-ing journey together through God’s Word. For the entire year we will read the Bible Chronologically. Each week the Pastor’s sermons will be from the section of Scripture that we read, and the Small Groups will study from the same section of Scripture. Together we will learn the Story of God’s grace and redemption from cover to cover in the Bible. The church has provided this study guide (Reader’s Guide to the Bible) to be used for small groups that meet on Sunday morn-ings. This will replace the quarterly literature that the church has provided in the past. We encourage you to use this book to prepare for the study time on Sundays. Please feel free to place your name in the book so if it’s misplaced we can return it to you. This guide will be the only guide we will use as a church this year so keep it close and study consistently through the year to gain the most you can from this Journey! Thank you for loving God and seeking to know Him more completely! This year will be so exciting! Enjoy the journey as we ac-complish this Together! Pastor Scott

The Christmas Program Noël The Divine Mystery Will be rebroadcast on December 22nd and

December 29th at 7:00 p.m. On Cable Channel 192.
