When your child is absent from school, your child will have to complete all the worksheets and assignments he / she has missed.
Please remind your child to submit completed work to the teachers.

Parents will be informed if your child consistently
hands in homework late.
Do check your child’s diary daily.
TIPS TO HELP YOUR CHILD• Closely monitor use of gadgets at home.
• Check their bags for work.
• Ensure a proper PLACE for study and revision at home
(away from TV, computer & electronic devices).
• Promote a reading and speaking culture at home.
• A regular TIME for study and revision daily
[ No homework does not mean no work ].

School Standard Operation Procedures
(SOP)
• Absence on a school day – MC or letter from
parent/guardian.
• For early departure on a school day –
parent/guardian must be present to sign out the
child.
• Avoid taking child on trips during term time – not a
valid reason
Principal’s approval is required beforehand.
• Frequent absences and late-coming – school will
send out an advisory letter.

using School Cockpit mobile phone

• Parents/Guardians will receive a
phone message at 8.30am if child is
absent.
• During dismissal….
• Parents please take note that you are to
exit via gate 3 after dismissal.

You need to walk all the way to gate 1 and

STELLAR aims to strengthen both language and
reading skills as well as promote a positive attitude
towards reading in the foundational years through the
