DETAILS This day covers how to create an effective programming framework and other fundamentals for successful training (such as baseline wellness).

TOPIC Writing individual programming for high-level athletes

TARGET AUDIENCE

Crossfit coaches working with non-elite and elite athletes/athletes themselves

DETAILS This day covers how to help individual athletes structure their training around preparation for a specific competition

The format of both days is going to be a mix of theoretical input and practical work at the gym. Jami will cover a whole bunch of interesting topics regarding the writing of training programs for athletes on different levels and ages. There will be plenty of time to ask specific questions and learn from one of the best crossfit coaches on earth!

JAMI TIKKANEN Successful Crossfit Coach, Founder of THETRAININGPLAN, Osteopath

Jami Tikkanen is a Coach, Osteopath and lecturer. He is the founder of The Training Plan, a movement based programming site for CrossFit athletes, and co-founder of Reebok CrossFit Thames in London, UK.

Following him competing at 2009 CrossFit Games European Regionals, Jami began working with elite level CrossFit athletes in 2010 as an osteopath for Mikko Salo (World Fittest Man 2009) and coach to Annie Thorisdottir. He continues to coach Annie who has since won the title of “Fittest Woman on Earth” twice (2011/2012). In 2012, Jami was given the privilege to coach Team Europe at the first ever CrossFit Invitational against Team USA. (© wemovemagazin.com)

Furthermore he coached elite athletes like Sarah Sigmundsdottir, Frederik Aegidius, Björgvin Gudmundsson and Katrin Davidsdottir.
