OTHER ACTIVITIES Inadditiontopreparingproposalsforexternalfunding,theORSPundertakesotheractivitiesthatsupporttheuniversity’sresearchandsponsoredprojectcapacities,including:

Negotiatingindustrycontracts,Non‐DisclosureAgreements,MaterialTransferAgreements,MemorandaofUnderstanding,andotheragreementswithprivateindustryandotherentities;

Hostingspeakersfromfundingagencies; Providingtrainingeventsongrantwriting,budgetingandotheraspectsofsponsoredprojects; Visitingclassestodiscussgrantwritingandresearch; FurtheringresearchcompliancethroughassistancewithIRB,IACUC,andmaintainingaward‐

relatedConflictofInterestprocedures; AdvisingonpolicydevelopmenttobettersupportLMUfacultyandstaffeffortstosecure

externalfunding.

Oursisaprofessionallyactiveofficeaswell.Staffmembersregularlyofferpresentationsatprofessionalconferences,publisharticlesintradejournals,andprovidementoringandconsultationtoourcolleaguesatothercollegesanduniversities.
