COMMUNITY FAMILY NIGHT OUT

Come for a night of fun and fellowship! The Bethany

recreational facility will be open on Sunday, February 12th from

6:00pm to 9:00pm (come and go as you please). Activities will

include volleyball, basketball, table games, or just come for a cup

of coffee and fellowship. Participants are encouraged to bring

bars, cookies, or simple snacks to the event to pass!

Beverages will be provided!

Parents must accompany their children. All are welcome!!

PRAYER CONCERNS: Deb Stutelberg is recovering from broken bones in her ankle.

Ruth Johnson had tests this past week. Herman Brouwer is undergoing more tests for

severe pain. Darlene Andresen, Verlyn Aeikens and Stan Barney are all in therapy.

Bruno Asche would appreciate our prayers. Those on chemotherapy include Alex

Asche, Herman Brouwer, Connie Dirksen and Cindy Mithun. Pray for God’s leading

for our Search Committee. Jake & Sharon Moss serve in Kentucky.

most $$ for the month of February will get a prize. All money

raised will go to the Lions Club to purchase park equipment.

Here To Serve The fellowship committee has

decided to implement a few

changes in regards to the

ushers & greeters starting in

February. The ushers

responsibilities will be handing

out bulletins at the back of

church along with doing the

welcoming of guests to the

service, and they are there to

assist with seating if needed.

The guest greeters will now be

located at the two main west

doors as you enter the church.

We will no longer have

sanctuary greeters.

The elder’s want to revitalize the SHEPHERD MINISTRY. Are you willing to be a

shepherd for 2017? This is a fulfilling ministry that you can be a part of! Shepherds

send cards on birthdays & anniversaries and remember their friends in prayer (no

meetings required). Please contact Milt Wubben or the church office if you would

like to minister in the name of Christ or have any questions.

Memory screens.....who should have them? ~ Thursday, February 16th This class will focus on learning about memory screenings and why obtaining a baseline is important for everyone. An Inquirer’s Class for those interested in professing their faith and becoming a member of Bethany will begin Sunday, February 26th during the Sunday School time in the Family Center for six weeks. John Madsen will be teaching the class.
