Every child deserves a loving family. That’s what we believe at Bethany Christian Services and we know you do too. The Willmar advisory committee, along with the Minnesota Bethany branch and several local supporting churches, has decided to take a leap of faith and hire a community outreach director to spread the word in our area about the need for foster and adoptive families, to network with other agencies and to gather the needed financial support from churches, businesses and individuals to make sure that children in our area know the love of a family. installation today, January 15th in order that any legitimate objections may be presented to the elders.

Thanks goes to the Prayer Shawl Knitters & Crocheters once again for a productive year of giving in 2016. We gave out 47 shawls made with love and prayers. Thank yous were placed in our file. PRAYER CONCERNS: Cindy Mithun will be having tests Tuesday at the Cancer

Treatment Center in Chicago. Stan Boonstra, the father of Al & Don Boonstra and

Kathi Beseman, is at Rice Hospital. Darlene Andresen is at a Care Center in the

cities following foot reconstruction surgery. Verlyn Aeikens, Gary Slagter, Stan

Barney and Ron Thomton are all in therapy. Bruno Asche would appreciate our

prayers. Those on chemotherapy include Alex Asche, Herman Brouwer and

Connie Dirksen. Pray for God’s leading for our Search Committee. James & Beth

Harrison serve in Bahrain.

Today it is our privilege to ordain and install Dylan Aeikens, Nathan Hebrink and Keith Loe as

deacons and Troy Sweep as elder and to install Marlin Ammermann and Jerry Schwitters as

elders.

A special thank you to our outgoing deacons and elders who include the following: Jeff Davids,

Larry Hinrichs, Jeff Koenen, Scott Abbas, Nathan Bourne and Paul Childers.

We are looking for a current or former Elder who would be interested in teaching the Inquirer’s Class. This class is for those interested in professing their faith and becoming a member of Bethany, the class meets during the Sunday School time for six weeks ( it usually starts the end of

January). Contact Todd if you are interested.
