We at KPGA are proud to announce our 3rd Annual KPGA Charity Classic Golf Tournament at Lionhead Golf Club on the afternoon of Thursday, August 24th 2017 and are seeking your support.
KPGA is an informal group of avid golfers whose roots go back to the beautiful valley of Kashmir in Northern India. Kashmir has been an embodiment of great human values of tolerance, acceptance, equity, integrity and harmony. We used to call this unique way of life ‘Kashmiriyat’. This small community that has proudly adopted Canada as their new home is making a meaningful contribution through our fledgling 14 year-old golf group by hosting an annual charity golf tournament. Our two previous Charity Golf Tournaments were huge successes and close to $45,000 were raised for the beneficiaries (Princess Margaret Cancer Centre & Parkinson Canada)
This year, the funds generated through this charity tournament will be donated to “Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA)”. Founded in 1918, the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) is the most established, most extensive community mental health organization in Canada. Through a presence in hundreds of neighbourhoods across every province, CMHA provides advocacy and resources that help to prevent mental health problems and illnesses, support recovery and resilience, and enable all Canadians to flourish and thrive. This is a great opportunity for your company to receive exposure and help support a worthy cause. As a participating sponsor you will receive Sponsor Benefits:
