Audio/Visual NASW Arkansas will provide a podium with standard microphone, power point projector, laptop, and a screen in each breakout room. All equipment, including laptops, must remain in the room at all times. Those wishing to rent other equipment, such as wireless microphones, may do so at their own expense through the hotel AV company (contact information will be given if your proposal is chosen). If using a power point presentation, presenters must provide NASW-AR with a copy of the presentation by March 3, 2017. Presenters’ Handouts In an effort to go GREEN and in response to attendees requesting handouts from presentations they were not able to attend, conference handout materials will be available through our conference app, accessible only to conference registrants. If you need to have physical handouts available during your presentation and would like us to print them, please limit them to 20 pages and email them to the NASW office no later than March 3, 2017. Handouts will be printed double-sided and in black/white. To have your handouts included on our app, they must be turned into the NASW office no later than March 3, 2017, as well. Deadline for Proposals The final deadline for proposal submission for this

conference is December 20, 2016 at 5 p.m. If your proposal is accepted for the conference, you may attend the conference on the day that you present free of charge. If you wish to attend sessions on additional days, the normal conference rates apply.

Celebrate Diversity: Lift Every Voice NASW Arkansas invites YOU to submit a proposal for consideration at the 2017 Annual Conference. This year’s conference theme challenges social workers to recognize they are leaders working with a variety of people to provide knowledge, skills, and common values to help others identify strengths, overcome adversity, and fulfill potential. In this truly unprecedented time we cannot forget what we are here to do - Lift EVERY Voice! Conference presentations should offer evidence-based information that focuses on best practices and skill building for social work practice. Proposals can incorporate the conference theme and should include adequate information for evaluation through a blinded peer-reviewed process. Proposals are encouraged in all Social Work practice areas, and at all levels of practice: micro, mezzo, or macro. We look forward to seeing you!

Submissions are evaluated on the following points:
