Student volunteers help to restock and maintain the student food pantry at Dish-man Hills High School Wednesdays. This program is in place to ensure kids don’t go without a good meal. “No kid should go hungry,” said Breeanna Jennen, one of the student volunteers. The pantry is stocked with all nonperish-able foods, from mac and cheese, apple-sauce and crackers to shelf milk, milk that doesn’t need to be refrigerated so it does not go bad.All food is donated from Spokane Valley Partners.Students can get food anytime they need, so long as they have an advisor to let them in to the pantry.
