are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., for academic advising and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., for registration.

LOBOWEB AND UNM EMAILIt is important that all students set up a NetID

and password so that they have access to UNM email and LoboWeb.

Student Services staff are available to help students set up their NetID and to instruct them in using LoboWeb.

Students must view their email on a regular ba-sis since many important campus-wide messages are sent via the student’s UNM email address.

Students who have earned 26 college credit hours or more, who do not have registration holds, may register for UNM-Valencia Campus courses

online. New, re-admitted, transfer and those stu-dents who have less than 26 college credit hours must see an advisor prior to registering.

It is strongly recommended that all students visit with an advisor periodically to discuss their academic program.

Students receiving VA benefits must see an aca-demic advisor every semester and must see the VA Certifying Official located in the Registrar’s Office.

FINANCIAL AID AND DISBURSEMENTS

Students who are applying for financial aid must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be eligible for financial assistance.

Applications are completed at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Once the application is submitted, UNM will

receive the application from the Department of Education within 5 business days and students can check the status of their application on LoboWeb.

All financial aid disbursements are processed by the UNM-Main Campus Bursars Office.

Students may receive their disbursements by direct deposit to a bank account of their choice (checking or savings), or by a check through the mail. Direct deposit to a checking account is set up on LoboWeb. Enter the UNM Account Suite and click on “Setup eRefunds.”

It is imperative that students keep their person-al information current, whether choosing direct deposit or mail. Failure to do so could substantially delay the receipt of their disbursement.

Bank information can be accessed through LoboWeb and the student’s UNM Account Suite.
