The Fall Revival for the college is still a go and we are working on planning an event for each week of school prior to the revival. God has blessed with a core group of about 6 young men who have been faithful to attend BSM since school has been out who intend to help with activities in the fall. Thought’s From the Director’s Heart!

We have gone from wet and cool to dry and hot in a matter of days. Summer has arrived with a bang, and already the complaints have begun about how hot and dry it is, followed by a wish for cooler and wetter weather. I thought we were just praying for hotter and dryer weather? Amazing, isn’t it!!

Associational ministry is in full swing with Vacation Bible School, TCB Day Camp, Youth Camps, etc. We are in the midst of TCB Day Camp, and Day One was a great success with 138 students (K-6th grade) and over 50 workers. We have had a fun time in crafts, recreation and the water slides. Bro. Scott Powell, BSM Director, and his team are doing an awesome job with music. The meals are tasty, the lessons are exciting, and the worship service was a blessing with 18 people accepting Christ as their Savior!!

The Red River Valley Bible Camp Bible Conference begins on Monday night, June 27 at 6:30 pm and goes until Thursday night, June 30. There are also morning services on Tuesday, beginning at 10:00 am.

If you or your church are interested in being a part of our association’s South Dakota Missions Trip leaving on July 29 and returning on August 6, please call the association office or Scott Powell at 903-246-1364.

In just a few days we will celebrate our national day of Independence on July 4th. I hope we will thank Almighty God for the freedoms we have and remember each military and public official who keeps us safe and free. May we never take our freedom for granted!

Happy 4th of July!
