Spent Convictions (Act Amendment) Regulations 2014

Made by the Governor in Executive Council under sections 16 and 33 of the Act.

1. Citation

These regulations are the Spent Convictions (Act Amendment) Regulations 2014.

2. Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows — (a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these

regulations are published in the Gazette; (b) the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3. Spent Convictions Act 1988 amended

These regulations amend the Spent Convictions Act 1988.

4. Schedule 3 amended

(1) In Schedule 3 clause 1(4)(d) delete “person.” and insert:

(2) After Schedule 3 clause 1(11) insert:

(12) The persons specified in the Table are excepted from the provisions of section 22 and Part 3 Division 4 in respect of all spent convictions.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1995

Shire of Dardanup

DOGS AMENDMENT LOCAL LAW 2015

Under the powers conferred by the Dog Act 1976 and the Local Government Act 1995 and under all other powers enabling it, the Council of the Shire of Dardanup resolved on 18 February 2015 to make the following local law.

1. Citation

This local law shall be cited as the Shire of Dardanup Dogs Amendment Local Law 2015.

2. Commencement

This local law comes into operation 14 days after the date of its publication in the Government Gazette.

3. Principal local law

In this local law, the Shire of Dardanup Dogs Local Law 2014 as published in the Government Gazette on 22 August 2014 is referred to as the principal local law. The principal local law is amended as follows.

4. Clause 1.5 amended

Clause 1.5 is amended by deleting the definition of ‘children’s playground’.

5. Clause 3.1 amended

Clause 3.1 is amended by deleting subclause (1)(c) and inserting the following—

(c) ensure that every gate or door in the fence is kept closed at all times when the dog is on the premises (unless the gate is temporarily opened in a manner that ensures that the dog remains confined) and is fitted with a proper latch or other means of fastening it;

6. Clause 5.1 amended

Clause 5.1(2) is amended by deleting the words “Where the dog is a dangerous dog, $400; otherwise $200” and replacing with “Penalty: $1000”.

7. Clause 6.3 amended

Clause 6.3 is amended by deleting the words ‘Form 7’ and substitute with ‘Form 8’.

8. Clause 6.6 amended

Clause 6.6 is amended by deleting the words ‘Form 8’ and substitute with ‘Form 9’.

9. Schedule 3 amended

In Schedule 3 delete the line for item 3 and replace with the following—
