13th Rice Pro-Tech Expo 2015 at Burdwan (W.B.)proved another successful event.

A huge zealous participant of Rice Millers, Dal Millers and Flour

Millers from West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam and

neighbor countries like Bangladesh, Nepal was seen there. More

than 135 exhibitors from India & abroad participated in this

exhibition and displayed their new machinery and advance

technology. It included modern rice mill plants, dal-flour milling

machineries, dryer, silos, colour sorter, cleaning-grading

equipments, packaging machinery & material, paddy parboiling

plant, air compressors, roofing structures, gensets and automation

solution providers etc. There were several prominent machinery

manufacturers from India, China, Germany, Brazil and Taiwan.

Sh. Surinder Gupta (Founder and Chief Organiser-Business

Empire Group) organizing this international expo, said that it was

the first such a big rice and grain milling show being held in the state

of West Bengal. According to him, new rice mill machinery is need

of the hour in the rice and grain industry. The agriculture land is

shrinking day by day and production of the paddy is tegnant for last

many years in India. On the other hand, population is increasing

rapidly. In such difficult situation the only suitable way is to

decrease the losses and increase output by setting up the modern

plants in the mills. We need a cohesive approach to bring

technology and agriculture planning together, he added.

The exhibition was freely opened to all the rice millers, rice

exporters, dal millers, oil and flour millers, brokers and equipments

dealers.
