Introduce yourself to those you identify as newcomers and visitors.
Invite guests to sign the guests register.
Invite guests, as well as members, to coffee hour after worship.
Inform guests, who have children, of our nursery and cry room.
Give a list to the Head Usher of all new visitors.

Arrive one-half hour before worship begins.
Turn on lights and fans as appropriate.
IF THERE ARE NO ACOLYTES, light the candles before the ser-vice. IF THERE IS AN ACOLYTE, assist the acolyte with lighting the candle during the prelude.
Ask 2 people from the congregation to assist you in the collection of the offering. You should settle this matter before the service begins. - You can ask anyone – young or old, male or female – we would like to include a lot of people.
Escort attendees to a pew and hand out bulletins.
Count all persons present, regardless of age. This is to include the Pastor, choir members, children, sound people, pianist, organist, EVERYONE! Enter the number in the attendance book.
WHEN COMMUNION IS SERVED, count all people who take Communion and record that in the attendance book.
Pick up prayer requests during the hymn of response and give to Pastor.
After the service the ushers should, pick up bulletins, straighten out the pew racks, make sure candles are extinguished, and lock all doors.

Members of LMPC’s local church committees are asked to work on fu-neral dinners, fellowship dinners, receptions, fellowship coffees after Sunday’s worship service and any other event that may take place, if it happens during your two months on the committee. Each committee has two chairs. Most of the chairs also work outside the home so it is imperative that everyone who is able should help lessen the load of the chairs. It is wonderful to see so many husbands helping out with the fellowship coffees and funeral dinners and we thank you! We do not want these committees to be a burden; so if you need to, please feel free to buy ―good‖ cookies or even the cookie dough that you just have to slice and bake, instead of doing them from scratch.

Directions:
Coming from the East on I-80 take exit 59 north towards Bridge-port. Turn left towards Sidney at the junction to the 2nd stop light, which is 13th street, turn left 3 blocks to Linden Street, turn right. We are in the middle of the block. Coming from the West on I-80 take exit 55 and go north 2 miles, turn right to 14th street, turn right 3 blocks to Linden Street, we are on the corner of 14th & Linden.
