Enclave’s available All-Wheel Drive (AWD) constantly monitors traction at all four wheels. If it detects slip, power is delivered

to the wheel(s) with the best grip. In low-traction situations—like rain, sleet or snow—it can send up to 50 percent of engine

torque to either front wheel and up to 85 percent to either rear wheel. And on dry roads, performance and handling benefits

such as enhanced acceleration and torque reach all four wheels. Enclave’s power comes from a 3.6L V-6 with direct fuel

injection, variable valve timing, 288 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with an electronically controlled 6-speed automatic

transmission that seamlessly shifts into the right gear for optimal performance and efficiency.

you see better around corners. And in the driver’s seat, where an industry-first side-mounted Front Center Air Bag adds

another layer of protection in side impacts.1 Safety features are no substitute for the driver’s responsibility to operate the

vehicle in a safe manner. The driver should remain attentive to traffic, surroundings and road conditions at all times. Read

a warning icon in the side mirror. The available Lane Departure Warning feature alerts drivers if they drift out of their lane

unintentionally without the turn signal on. Also available: Forward Collision Alert, which warns drivers with a visual display

if they are approaching a vehicle directly ahead too quickly.
