Christopher. The map has been professionally repaired through the middle fold

and has some mainly light foxing around the edges, still very attractive and cheap

at estimate when you consider that fine examples retail for around L125 or more

31 PH Barbados KGVI 1d tied by GPO 6 MR 39 cds on Crosby cacheted naval cover with photo

inset of the USS Lexington aircraft carrier for operation “Fleet Problem XX”. This

operation was personally observed by FDR and involved a simulation of the

defense of the U.S. East Coast and Latin America and involved 134 ships, 600

planes and over 52,000 men! A very scarce item for this operation and ship from

Barbados!
