• Follow Instructions! Keep to the length.

• Do not use a generic essay. Each essay

must fit the prompt.

• If you have a choice, choose an essay in

your comfort area.

• All the conventions of good writing

apply. Use accepted grammar,

punctuation and spelling. They

• Shorter, interesting paragraphs are
