We head west from Missouri. Along the way we’ll

drive past the Giant Wind Farms and the Flint Hills of

Kansas. We’ll also stop at the Cathedral on the Plains

before spending the night in Hays , KS.

Day 2 This afternoon we’ll arrive in Manitou Springs and ascend

Pikes Peak via the Cog Railway. After that, we’ll drive

through the Garden of the Gods and see some amazing rock

formations. From here we’ll travel to Cripple Creek, CO

where we check into our hotel & casino.

Day 3 After breakfast you will have a little time to tour the

historic Cripple Creek, CO. We then go to the Mollie

Kathleen Gold Mine and go 1000 feet underground.

After that we will head to Royal Gorge Bridge and Park

for the afternoon. We’ll end the day in Alamosa, CO.

We’ll have breakfast then travel over to the Great Sand

Dunes National Park and wonder - how did it get there?

Next, we’ll travel to Durango, CO, and check into our

hotel We’ll have a little time in the afternoon to shop

this neat old historic town.

Day 5 Today we travel to Mesa Verde National Park where

you’ll see cliff dwellings and other artifacts of a society

that lived here thousands of years ago. We’ll also visit

Sunset Crater National Monument. You’ll also see the

Four Corners. We will spend the night in Tuba City, AZ.

Day 6 Today’s the day we visit the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon

National Park. We will have a picnic lunch and see a movie

about the park at the Grand Canyon Imax Theatre. From here

we will travel to Flagstaff, AZ for the night. After we check in,

we’ll take a short ride to Sunset Crater National Monument.

Day 8 This morning we will visit the Petrified Forest National Park, which is

known for it’s fascinating fossils. This afternoon, we’ll make our way

to Albuquerque, NM. This evening we’ll ride the Sandia Peak

Tramway, above deep canyons and breathtaking terrain. At the top

we’ll have dinner at the Two Mile High Restaurant, which of course

has a spectacular view.

Day 9

After breakfast we travel west to Amarillo, TX. Before lunch, we’ll

visit the Jack Sisemore Traveland RV Museum. You’ll take a step

back in time as we tour the facility housing RV’s from early as the 30’s.

We’ll also have a short photo op at the roadside Cadillac Ranch.

Day 10 & 11 Today we travel to Oklahoma City, OK. We’ll stop along the way for a

visit at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, America’s

premier institution of Western history, art and culture. Day 11, we’ll

stop for a short visit the Precious Moments Chapel in Carthage, MO on

the way home. You’ll go home with new friends, photos and lots of fun

memories.

In the morning we’ll drive through beautiful Sedona, AZ and

maybe stop there for a little bit. After lunch we’ll travel back to

Flagstaff, AZ . You’ll have the choice of visiting Historic Downtown

& Railroad District or the Riordan Mansion State Historic Park.

We begin our journey by heading west into Kansas. We will

make a stop in Kansas City where we’ll tour the National WWI

Museum and see historical exhibits covering the entire war

from 1914-1919. Our destination for tonight is Colby, KS.

After breakfast we start our journey to Colorado. In the late

afternoon, we will tour the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space

Museum. You’ll see over 40 aircraft housed in a 1930’s era former

Air Force hangar. Many of the aircraft you see are rare, like the

B-18A Bolo. We will spend the night near Denver, CO.

This morning we’ll go on a short drive to Golden, CO , where we

will take the Golden Brewery Tour. This brewery is known for

being the world’s largest single-site brewery. In the afternoon,

we will drive through Rocky Mountain National Park where we’ll

travel over mountains that exceed 12,000 feet! We’ll spend

tonight in Vail, CO.

Our first destination today is the Colorado National Monument, where

you’ll see sheer-walled red rock canyons and towering monoliths.

Afterwards, we’ll head to Canyonlands National Park where we’ll ex-

plore some of the towering buttes and deep canyons carved out by the

Colorado River. Tonight we’re in Moab, UT.

We’re off to see the arches at Arches National Park. The park has

over 2,000 natural stone arches and bridges. If weather permits,

we’ll have a picnic lunch while we’re there. After lunch, we’re on a

scenic drive as we make our way to Bryce, UT , which is where we’ll

be staying tonight.

Durango Silverton Railroad. On this train ride, you’ll experience

Colorado at it’s best. We will see wildlife, waterfalls and majestic

peaks, all from an 1880’s train. You will see places you can only get

to by foot or train. After our ride and a little shopping, we’ll travel

to our hotel in Alamosa, CO.

This morning we depart for Antelope Canyon. It’s a spectacular,

yet not well know attraction with the most unusual rock

formations and colors that you’ll ever see. In the afternoon we’ll

stop at Four Corners National Monument on our way to

Durango, CO for the night. The best thing about Four Corners is

all the handmade Indian jewelry and paraphernalia you can buy.

known for it’s most unique and amazing geology. It’s hard to

believe even after you see it in person. Afterwards, we’ll visit

Cedar Breaks National Monument, where you’ll get to look

down into a half mile deep natural amphitheater. Our hotel

tonight is in Kanab, UT.

Kansas bound! We head to Dodge City, KS where we’ll have time to

tour this historic little town. You could even do a little gambling at

the Boothill Casino and Resort . On day 11, we head for home with a

short stop at Fort Scott National Historic Site where you’ll learn a

little history before and after the Civil War. You should have some

new friends and lots of memories to share.

Today, we tour Zion National Park. You will see sandstone

cliffs of cream, pink and red. This park is one of the most

magnificent natural wonders in the world. This afternoon we

will take a tour of Glen Canyon Dam, which is located on beau-

tiful Lake Powell. Our last stop is our hotel in Page, AZ.

Day 4

Today is primarily a driving day, but along the way we

will see the Arabia Steamboat Museum in Kansas

City. This is the home to a true time capsule from the

1800’s. The first night out will be spent in Hays, KS.

Today we drive through Grand Tetons National Park,

a beautiful mountainous and lake area. This after-

noon we’ll arrive at Yellowstone National Park.

Today we’ll see Old Faithful and Yellowstone Lodge,

an architectural feat for a log structure. Tonight we

stay in West Yellowstone, MT.

Northwest National Park Tour

This morning we drive through Rocky Mountain National Park

where we’ll travel over mountains that exceed 12,000 feet. This

afternoon we will visit Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre. It’s not

just a beautiful place for a concert, but it’s acres upon acres of

geological wonders where the Great Plains meet the Rocky

Mountains. Tonight we end up in Steamboat Springs, CO.

Today we head east to Denver, CO. Our first stop for the day

is Union Station, USA’s most historic train station. After our

visit here, we’ll go to the National Ball Park Museum where

we’ll see one of a kind treasures from many major league

baseball teams.

This afternoon we’ll visit Dinosaur National Monument, where

thousands of bones have been uncovered by anthropologists all

over the country. After an hour here you’ll have no doubt that

dinosaurs did exist. You’ll also see beautiful rock formations,

mountains and canyons. We stop for the night in Green River, WY.

Our first stop of the day is the Corn Palace, a tribute to South Dakotas

agricultural heritage. Then we visit Mitchell Prehistoric Indian Village,

a six acre site over looking Lake Mitchell. Tonight we stay in Nebraska

City, NE. On day 11 we head home to Missouri with new friends,

pictures to share and memories to last a lifetime!

Day 9

Today we will drive through the northern loop of

Yellowstone National Park, the nations first national

park. We’ll see the steaming springs, paint pots,

waterfalls and many other phenomena. We’ll also see

lots of wildlife on our way to Cody, WY.

After a short drive, we’ll take a scenic one hour ride on the 1880

Steam Train from Keystone to Hill City, SD. This afternoon, we

will visit Mount Rushmore National Memorial, a tribute to four

presidents, symbolizing freedom and democracy. This evening

we’ll get to see Crazy Horse Monument before retiring for the

night in Rapid City, SD.

After breakfast we’re off to what could just be the biggest

tourist trap ever, Wall Drug, in Wall, SD. We’ll then drive

through to Badlands National Park, where rhinos, horses and

saber tooted cats roamed. It’s now a vast wasteland where

nothing can grow. We’ll end the day in Mitchell, SD.

This morning we visit Buffalo Bill Center of the West,

open since 1927. You can only imagine the history inside

the walls of this museum. We’ll also spend a little time

shopping before a scenic drive to Gillette, WY.

THE CONCEPT: These cross country trips are designed so that you can see and do a lot of things in the 11 days that you’re

out. We use custom built full size executive coaches which are designed to accommodate 18 passengers very comfortably with

a lot of special amenities. Some of these amenities include card and lunch tables, a full kitchen and couches in back. Just

being able to get up and walk around or lay down and take a nap is a great advantage. We also prepare hot lunches on board

to save time and money. This actually adds to the “experience” of the trip, especially when we picnic on the bank of a beautiful

lake or some other gorgeous view.

THE TRIP: The way our tours work is that we pick up in many cities around Missouri and then head out toward our destination.

Each day we will typically see or do one thing in the morning and then another in the afternoon. Since there is so much to see

and do, we usually depart by 8 am and arrive at our next hotel around 6 pm. On day 11, we arrive back in Missouri taking you

right back to the location where we picked you up!

THE COST: The total cost of each trip is $1970 per person which covers everything except your evening meals. Included is the

motorcoach, , shuttle to / from the bus, lodging, hotel breakfasts, lunches and the cost of all venues shown. The price is based

on 2 persons per room. If 4 people share a room, the cost will be reduced by $250 each. If you want a single room, the addition-

al cost is $500. Reservations can be made by sending a check for $500. The remainder of $1470 is due 45 days prior to the

trip. The price does not include gratuity for the driver and hostess.

THE CANCELLATION POLICY: If you cancel more than 45 days prior to the beginning of the trip, you will receive a full refund.

If you cancel less than 45 days prior, you will receive a refund of all but $500. If we are able to fill the spot you vacated, you will

receive back the $500. If you want to buy insurance to cover the potential $500 loss, the cost is $50 per person.
