Unlike most Webinar programs — which resemble infomercials more than education —
healthsystemCIO.com’s Webinars offer only the highest quality content presented by healthcare CIOs.
With healthsystemCIO.com helping you shape the topic, and one of our editors moderating the event
and managing the logistics, you'll be sure to receive the largest list of top-level healthcare IT
executives available anywhere in the industry.
Pre-Scheduled Webinars: healthsystemCIO.com’s Pre-Scheduled Webinars cover topics that are
top-of-mind with healthcare CIOs. The healthsystemCIO.com team determines the topic, speaker and
event date. This program provides all the branding and lead generation of a custom program without
all of the work, while positioning the sponsor as an industry thought-leader. See the Webinar Calendar
starting on Page 5 for our 2014 Line-up.
Custom Webinar: We'll work with you to develop a topic which covers your areas of interest and
is of high interest to healthsystemCIO.com readers. You can nominate a CIO speaker or we can recruit
one for you.
Quarterly Thought-Leadership Webinar Series: Sponsoring a one-time Webinar is great for
getting your name out there and garnering leads, but if your goal is to own your space, to be the first
name that comes to mind when folks think of solving the challenge in question, our Quarterly
Thought-Leadership Webinar Series is for you. You truly become an asset to the industry by genuinely
underwriting high-quality education. Best of all, we do EVERYTHING for you, leaving you free to work
on other projects, while your sales folks stand ready to follow up with those who've attended your
events. Volume Discount applies.
Pre-Scheduled Webinar Testimonial – Preparing For (and Surviving) Meaningful Use Audits – February 21,
2013
"I forwarded it to several of our staff that weren't able to attend. I wanted to let you know that both speakers
did a great job - as a small hospital that attested to Stage 1 in 2012, it was good to hear from others that have
already gone through an audit and survived." Michele Streeter, Northern Berkshire Healthcare.

"This webinar was the best session on
clinical transformation I've attended all
year. This is noteworthy, because I've
attended several dozen webinars. What
made it distinctive was the chemistry of
bringing together two different
organizations, two different CXO leaders, a
clinical decision support vendor, and a
social media and social engineering
approach, critical to driving the change of
CPOE. The visuals were strong, rich,
succinct and on point. The pace was
appropriately rapid for busy audience
members, and the moderation was superb.
Anthony asked the tough, direct questions
that lie at the heart of success or failure,
which is relationships. This brought a
powerful and appropriate clarity to part of
the real, invisible work behind the stories.
There was also a very inviting quality to
building in and respecting the input and
concerns brought by the audience, through
the Q & A. Again, all in all, the best webinar
on clinical transformation I've attended in

“Sponsoring a webinar with
healthsystemCIO.com was one of the best
marketing experiences of my career. They
took the information we sent over about
our business and objectives and were able
to insert it into their proprietary Webinar
format. They handled all the arrangements,
even recruiting the speakers, and kept the
whole project on track, even giving us a
little gentle prodding along the way. I
would highly recommend
healthsystemCIO.com overall, and the
organization’s Webinar program in
particular, for anyone who wishes to get
their offerings in front of hospital and

into this community is truly deep.” —

Webinar FAQs
• Do you guarantee a certain number of leads? We do not but our goal is a minimum of 100
registrations per event. We have seen more than double these numbers on some events. See
below for complete list of past event performance.
• Can we pose custom registration questions? Yes, but we advise that, in addition to our standard
questions (name, title, organization, city, state, email, phone number, type of organization),
sponsors pose no more than three additional multiple-choice questions, so as not to make
the actual registration process too onerous.
• May we use customers/speakers who do not hold the titles you stipulate? Speaker titles must conform to
our description. We know our readers (CIOs) want to hear from their peers (other CIOs). To
obtain a great list of leads, we must stick to our tried-and-true format.
• Can attendees pose questions during the live event? Yes. Our webinars stand out with attendees for
the extended 20-minute Q&A. The fact that attendees can get their questions answered in
real time is highlighted in our promotions, and a big reason people make time to attend the
live events.
• How is scheduling handled? What type of lead time do you need? Webinars are generally held on
Thursdays at 1 PM ET. To acquire the best audience, we request a minimum of five weeks
between contract signing and event.

It's the future - incorporating knowledge about a patient's
genomics into their care plan. But to do this will require
incorporating that information into the EMR at the point of care,
and having a network in place to support the associated massive
data requirements. In this webinar, you'll hear from one forward-

Few doubt that empowering clinicians in a mobile way will
ultimately improve care, but the devil, for CIOs at least, is in the

Be Bold Be Bold Be Bold Be Bold ---- Leadership Lessons I Have LearnedLeadership Lessons I Have LearnedLeadership Lessons I Have LearnedLeadership Lessons I Have Learned
At its core, leadership is about the art and science of making
decisions. Sometimes, the choice is obvious, while in other
instances, no amount of analysis will bring a clear winner into light.
It is in these cases when leaders face their greatest challenges -
making big, big calls with a lot of study and a dash of gut instinct.
Another key, according to Daniel Barchi, CIO at Yale New Haven
Health System: be bold. In this webinar, Barchi presents some
leadership lessons learned during an eventful and highly successful

In a large health system, many of your patients have the same

Best Practices in Security GovernanceBest Practices in Security GovernanceBest Practices in Security GovernanceBest Practices in Security Governance
Most agree that suffering some type of security breach is not a
question of if, but when. That being said, there is much you can do

do happen. And one of the main ways to be prepared is to have an
optimal security governance structure in place. While one size does
