Features

Take seconds to receive accurate Ah capacity

results of the most common lead acid battery

types using the GOLD PLUS Intelligent Battery

Tester. Standby SLA, cyclic GEL and car

FLOODED – the GOLD PLUS tests both 6V and

12V battery types quickly.

• Simulates a full 20 hour discharge test in seconds

• Designed for standby SLA, cyclic GEL and car FLOODED batteries

• Tests 6V batteries between 1.2Ah and 12Ah, and 12V batteries between 1.2Ah and 100Ah

• Displays DC Voltage and Ah capacity available

• Unique calibration control allows the battery tester to be calibrated to non standard battery

types

• Simple operation, without confusing conversion rates or user interpretation needed

• As recommended by battery manufacturers, recharge or replace a battery when its rated Ah

capacity falls below 65%

• Provides clear and accurate Ah readings enabling replacement batteries to be identified quickly

and easily

• Uses advanced pulse load technology to analyse Ah capacity, based on the battery’s temperature

and state of charge

• Advanced pulse load technology is significantly more accurate than measuring voltage and

internal resistance and does not deplete the battery unlike a conventional load tester

• Offers reliable, continuous testing

• Powered by the battery under test, with ultra low heat generation

• Perfectly suited as a bench tester or out on the job with the engineer

• Profitable; show the customer the result and increase your own battery sales by recommending

a new battery for their system

Alarm Troubleshooting

Stop induced AC and nearby lightning from

causing false alarms and system malfunctions

with the ACT 1313. This 12V spike suppressor

decouples AC from cables and clamps the supply

against spikes.

ACT 1313

• Protects alarm control equipment and

detectors from induced AC and nearby lightning

• Decouples induced AC from every alarm cable connected to the control panel

• Clamps the 12VDC supply against spikes to the control panel, alarm detectors and plug-on

communicators

• Fit as standard - just one to the control panel and each PSU

• Connect RED+ and BLACK- across the 12VDC auxiliary supply and GREEN to mains Earth

12V Spike Suppressor

Stop induced AC and nearby lightning from

causing system malfunctions on the fire

alarm panel with the ACT 1414. This 24V spike

suppressor decouples AC from cables and

clamps the supply against spikes.

ACT 1414

• Protects fire alarm system from induced AC

and nearby lightning

• Decouples induced AC from every alarm cable connected to the control panel

• Clamps the 24VDC supply against spikes

• Connect RED+ and BLACK- wires across any 24V fire alarm zone, connect GREEN to mains Earth

• NOTE: Only one 24V spike suppressor is required for the control panel

Alarm Troubleshooting

This advanced 12V spike suppressor has two

functions. Firstly it will eliminate false alarms

caused by induced AC and RFI interference.

Secondly, it features a bi-coloured LED allowing

cable faults supplying DC power to motion

detectors or any 12V detection device to be

identified easily.

NEW ACT 1313 PLUS

• Eliminates false alarms caused by induced AC and RFI interference

• Identifies cable faults supplying DC power to motion detectors or any 12V detection device

• Eliminates induced AC and RFI

• Attenuated by up to 60dB on all DC power cables

• Bi-coloured LED identifies any potential DC power overload or low resistance fault on any cable

connected

• Connect directly between the control panel or PSUs auxiliary 12VDC supply to motion detectors

or other powered detection device

• Twin terminal blocks, 2X RED+ and 2X BLACK-, enable power cables to be grouped and connected

easily

Bi-coloured LED

• GREEN shows ‘no fault’ whereas RED indicates ‘fault exists’

• If the RED LED is lit, simply disconnect DC power cables one at a time to identify the troublesome

circuit

• If the RED LED is lit with all power cables removed, this indicates that the panel or PSU DC voltage

is insufficient to power motion sensors and other detection devices effectively against false

alarms

Alarm Troubleshooting

Protects PIRs and dual detectors against RFI

signals and stabilises the DC supply in the event

of a DC spike.

ACT 1376

• Stops RFI from affecting PIRs and dual

detectors

• Stabilises and powers PIRs and dual detectors

for up to 250ms in the event of a DC spike

• Eliminates replacing non-defective motion sensors

• Fits either inside or behind the detector with the 12VDC supply connected through

PIR Stabiliser

A powerful 1Amp rated RFI filter used to reduce

RFI from affecting alarm detectors, sounders and

DC access control circuits. They are particularly

beneficial where data corruption occurs on

keypads and LIMs.

ACT 2468

• Powerful 1Amp rated RFI filter

• Reduces RFI to alarm detectors, sounders

and DC access control circuits

• Works on 12V and 24VDC normally closed, end-of-line and fire alarm circuits

• Offers virtually no resistance to DC circuits but will reduce RFI signals between 2.5Hz and

800MHz, allowing them to work quicker and become more cost effective than re-wriring in

screened cables

• Connects between alarm circuit wiring and control equipment

• Supplied as a 1 x 8 block which can be snapped apart to make 2 x 4 way or 4 x 2 way
