SUMMER SWING FUN RUN
Runners and Walkers are welcome at any fitness level. The 5k course is measured and marked, and it is located in the residential low traffic neighborhoods. Water and Gatorade are provided for runners and walkers. There will also be hamburgers, hotdogs, sandwiches and drinks across the street at the Summer Swing Concerts, provided by the Opelika Band Boosters for a nominal price. Membership is open to students who have completed three classes at our Denson Drive Recreation Center. This is an open independent study basis. Members may work independently during studio hours. Scheduled classes have priority of equipment. Members are encouraged to share their wealth of knowledge amongst themselves for the betterment of the community. Clay is not included. Explore the basic wheel-throwing goals such as: centering clay, establishing floors, pulling walls and shaping/ trimming/ glazing wares.
