Մեծ խանդավառութիւն ստեղծեց Համազգայինի Արեւմտեան Ամերիկայի Շրջ.

Վարչութեան կազմակերպած Թատրոնի Փառատօնը Հայ Քոյրերու Վարժարանէն ներս:

Անոնք՝ նախակրթարան եւ միջնակարգ պատրաստուեցան նախորօք դիտելու «Անբան

Հուրի»ն, սորվելով, դիտելով, կարդալով, լսելով եւ գծելով Թումանեանի հեքիաթները

ընդհանրապէս եւ «Անբան Հուրին» մասնաւորապէս եւ որքան խորացան աւելի սկսան

հաճոյք առնել հեքիաթները կարդալով: Մանաւանդ այս կը զուգադիպէր մշակոյթի

ամսուան, որ մշակութային մարզէն ներս աշակերտներու պատրաստութիւնները

կ’ամբողջանային հեքիաթներով եւ

յատկապէս Թումանեանով:

Սակայն անսպասելին հայրենի

արուեստագէտներու հետ եղած

հանդիպումն էր, որ աշակերտները առիթ

ունեցան դերասաններուն հետ

ծանօթանալու, շփման մէջ մտնելու.

Աշակերտները՝ որպէս

հայրենակարօտներ երգեցին մեծ

խանդավառութեամբ եռագոյնները

բարձրացուցած դերասաններու

հիացմունքն ու արցունքները խլելով, արուեստագէտները ակներեւ հուզումով

ներկայացուցին իրենք զիրենք ապա խանդավառութեան գագաթնակէտին դերասան

Մխիթար ի մեներգով վերջ գտաւ հանդիպումը:

Անոնք հայրենի աւիշը փոխանցեցին հայ Քոյրերու Վարժարանի Ձ8 ամեայ

մատղաշ ծառին, որպէս պատուաստ հայրենասիրութեան եւ ազգապահպանման:

Our goals at the Armenian Sisters’ Academy are to partner with you, the parent, to offer a sense of belonging and a positive educational experience to our students.

Your involvement in school is crucial to your child’s success. As parents, you are the first assessor of your child. You question every move and every behavior to ensure age appro-priate development. Our teachers’ task is to join efforts with you and share the responsibil-ity in providing developmentally appropriate learning experiences in a safe and nurturing environment.

Behavioral problems are another area of concern in a preschool setting. Certain behaviors could present challenges for children in their interaction with their classmates. As educa-tors, we look for teachable moments and use praise to reinforce acceptable classroom be-havior .Through the exchange of information between parents and staff, we will create a positive school experience for the child.

Collaboration between teachers and parents is also essential in assessing children’s com-petencies, monitoring their strengths and weaknesses and tailoring the program to better meet the students’ needs. I know that you want the best for your children; that is why you have chosen the Armenian Sisters’ Academy as your school.

Here at A.S.A., we are developing the building blocks of learning. By cooperating with your child’s teachers, you will show your child that you are interested in his/her learning and healthy development.

THE IMPORTANCE OF HOMEWORK

Dear Parents,

Almost everyone has an opinion about homework. Research on importance of homework during the last ten years has greatly strengthened the case for homework. The bottom line is many parents and teachers agree that homework develops students study habits and work ethics, as well as supports academic learning . ASA, in par-ticular, value homework as part of the recipe for helping students meet high academic and study expectations.

Here are a few ideas for making homework a positive growth experience for your child:

-Encourage your child to keep an assignment notebook, in which, all homework assignments are recorded. -Create both a regular time and a space for homework . Treat homework as an important aspect of your

child’s schooling. -Recognize your child’s regular completion of homework assignment as “ the way we do things in our

home”. This expresses both expectation an honest appreciation for your child. -Share any questions regarding the amount or type of homework assigned with your child’s teacher.

-Try to strike a balance of appropriate assistance with your child’s homework: not too much, not too little. Younger children may need more assistance than older children.

When good study habits and successful completion of homework are a regular expectation, students benefit by gaining better grades, better study habits, and a more positive attitude toward school and learning . Homework is also a valuable way for parents to gain insight to help support the school curriculum. Today might be a good day to examine the “ homework habits” in your household to ensure that your family receives the benefits homework can bring.
