Congratulations for winning your way through the Club and District level of the competition. This is a great achievement.

I am sure your experience at the State Final will be both enjoyable and memorable.

Enclosed you will find details outlining the event and additional information for your reference. Please familiarise yourself with all the relevant details.

THE CHAMPIONSHIPDrawThe draw for the first day’s play is enclosed. A seeded draw for day two will be posted shortly after the completion of play on day one, and will be available at Bonville Golf Resort, and online at www.golfnsw.org.

Daily RegistrationYou will be required to check-in with the Golf NSW team at the registration desk at BonvilleGolf Resort each morning of play at least 20 minutes before your hit off time.

CartsA cart will be available for use, free of charge, for each playing pair, on each day. Please collect your cart from the pro-shop after you register each morning.

PracticePractice rounds will be available at Bonville Golf Resort on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 November. Cost is $80 per person for 18-holes, including cart hire. Practice rounds are at the competitors own expense. Bookings are essential and must be booked through the Pro Shop.

WithdrawalIf you or your partner are unable to participate in the State Final, please notify us immediately by emailing Julia Skamperle ([email protected]). As per the Conditions of Play, after the commencement of the competition no substitutes will be permitted.

HandicapsPlayers will play off the handicap current at the first day of play. Proof of handicap may be requested i.e. GolfLink number or handicap record sheet from your home club.

Dress RegulationsPlease note that the following dress regulations must be adhered to at all times:• Collared Shirts;• Tailored trousers or shorts;• SOFT SPIKES only;• Short socks are permitted.• No Football wear, Board Shorts, Denim Jeans, Tracksuits, T-Shirts or Surfing Wear

will be permitted on the Golf Course.

GENERAL

Event Registration: 6.00pm – 7.00pm, Sunday 24 November 2013 All players must register at Bonville Golf Resort with the Golf NSW team. At that time you will be issued with a player’s pack which will contain a complimentary player’s shirt to wear on the first day. This shirt will be navy and white.

Name BadgesName badges will be issued in your Player Registration Pack. You are asked to wear this name badge at the welcome BBQ. This is a courtesy to everyone and will encourage you to get to know other players.

Shirts & PhotographsA photograph of each pair will be taken on Monday morning prior to the first round of the Final. On this day please ensure that you wear the official Final shirt enclosed in your Player Registration pack.

TrophiesTrophies will be awarded to the first three pairs based on the aggregate 36-hole 4BBBstableford total over the two rounds of the Championship.

Trophies will also be awarded to the best 18-hole 4BBB stableford score in each round of the Championship.

No pair may win more than one trophy.

MEALS

BreakfastBreakfast will be served each day at Bonville Golf Resort from 6.30am – 10.00am.

Lunch

Lunch will be at your own expense. To ensure a quick transition after nine holes we ask that you only purchase snacks such as pies and sandwiches. Larger meals may be ordered following your round.

There is to be NO alcohol consumption on course for the duration of the Championship (Refer to Conditions for State Events at www.golfnsw.org).

Other MealsDinner is provided Sunday and Tuesday nights. All other meals are at your own expense as are phone calls, mini bar, laundry etc.

Social Dinner OptionBonville Golf Resort will offer a social dinner option on the Monday evening.This will consist of a gourmet meal, followed by cheese and fruit platters.The cost for this is $35 per person.

They will also run a chipping competition on the Terrace Lawn (also dinner venue) and provide a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize for this.

This has been a popular event in recent years, therefore bookings are essential. Please email Julia Skamperle [email protected] to make your booking. Payment for this will be on the night.
