PROGRAM OF EVENTS

CONDITIONS OF PLAY 1. Entry fees to be paid at time of entry. One entry only per entry form. No refund on entry.

2. The Committee of the Cobram Barooga Golf Club shall have entire management of the tournament, including handicapping,

with power to alter any handicap at any time prior to any event. The maximum handicap for Men is 36 and the maximum

handicap for Ladies 45. May use any 18 holes on the day.

3. All competitions shall be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as adopted by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St.

Andrews, Scotland, subject to the modification hereinafter mentioned together with the local rules of the Cobram Barooga Golf

Club. If any dispute arises on any point it shall be decided by the Committee of the Cobram Barooga Golf Club. Any appeal shall

be made to the Executive Council of the Victorian Amateur Golf Association provided same is lodged in writing through the

Secretary of the Cobram Barooga Golf Club within seven days of such decision. The Executive Council’s decision shall be final.

4. All events are open to Amateurs only who are members or lady members of registered clubs of the V.G.A. or who are members

of Golf Clubs outside the State of Victoria. The committee shall have the right to refuse the entry of any person without being

required to give any reason for such refusal.

5. Competitors must state the name of their home club, golf link number and their handicap.

6. The Committee of the Cobram Barooga Golf Club subject to Condition 3, shall have the power to deal with any dispute or

protest, which must be lodged in writing with the Secretary before presentations on the day on which the matter has arisen.

7. The Committee may, in the event of bad weather, or any other reason either shorten or fix another day, and in the case of ties,

shall determine the manner in which they shall be decided.

8. Mobile phones are not permitted on the golf course.

9. Professional Caddies are not permitted.

10. Electronic measuring devices are permitted.
