2013 Nevada HS All-State Choir Sight-Reading Examples * These examples have been provided as a guideline of what rhythmic and melodic sight-reading will look like for the audition. * Rhythmic Reading is to be clapped. A steady tempo should be established. * Melodic Sight-Reading may be sung on Solfeggio or a neutral syllable of choice (i.e. LA) * Tonality will be set and the starting pitch will be played one time.

Melodic Memory Examples - Nevada All-State Choir 2013
* These examples have been provided to you as a guideline for what the melodic memory exercises will look like for this year's 2013 HS Nevada All-State Choir Audition. Students will look at the the exercise as they hear it played on the piano 1 time. He/she must then sing back what is heard (and what he/she is looking at) on a neutral syllable (i.e. LA). * Each exercise will be 4 bars long. * Each exercise will begin on "DO" and end on "DO" * Each exercise will be played one time only.
