his years 4th of July Parade and Celebrationin Grass Valley will be full of old fashionfun.

Celebrity impersonators, vintage cars, and a fire-

works show are just a few of the many highlights ofthe day.

The parade kicks off the celebration at 10 a.m. indowntown Grass Valley this year. Every other yearGrass Valley and Nevada City host the annual

parade. Besure to getthere earlyfind a goodspot for alawn chair.The parade

begins at the corner of Main Street and SouthAuburn Street and will continue down Mill Street,Neal Street and then Church Street toward the fair-grounds. Members from both city councils will rideon fire trucks in the parade. The town of Rough andReady will also have a fire truck in the parade.
