JOB DESCRIPTION
Main responsibilities
Help to create event activities
- Actively participates in the brainstorming sessions led by the Mediation Project Manager. - Contributes his or her experience in the field. - Proposes appropriate event leadership methods based on the teaching programmes and objectives
identified beforehand.
Help with assessing event programmes
- Gives critical and structured feedback on the experience of events held in the form of reports with recommendations and proposed changes.
Run events
- Looks after groups of children, adolescents and adults, and runs various types of activities (visits, presentations, demonstrations, workshops, etc.) in line with the policy defined for each programme.
- Listens to the group members and is attentive to their needs and expectations. - Adapts his or her approach to match the profile and age of each group. - Applies the methodology defined for each programme. - Promotes the image of the Olympic Movement and the institution.
Ensure the maintenance of material and equipment
- Manages the material used for events and helps to keep an inventory of this. - Takes care of the areas used for activities (educational areas).
Keep training up to date
- Develops his or her knowledge with a view to enhancing his or her work with target groups.
Education; language and IT competences
Socio-cultural events diploma or equivalent; cultural or scientific mediation, or equivalent.
Experience of museums and mediation-related professions.
Very good general knowledge, keen interest in sport and sciences.
Perfect spoken French, English and German.
Technical competences needed for running certain activities.
Ability to write in French (reports, summaries and minutes).

date in line with the IOC’s training policy.
In addition, each employee may be asked to take on responsibilities other than those required by the job if
particular circumstances so require.

Activity level : 60%
Excellent knowledge and command of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and the technical media used for events.
Excellent command of the corporate tools and adherence to the internal user rules (LiveLink, Outlook, etc.)

Adherence to the internal rules of conduct and all instructions and procedures in place (i.e. Information Security, Code of Ethics, etc).
Full collaboration and knowledge transfer.
