RMA COMMUNITY COOKBOOK
The RMA Community Cookbook was compiled with recipes from the residents and is now on sale. To date more than half the cookbooks have been sold.
COMMUNITY GARDENS
Additional gardening plots were added and a vole fence was installed. A booster pump was also installed to accommodate the growing demand for the gardening plots.
BACKUP CMTS
11
The CMTS is the brain that runs the Cable TV headend. If the CMTS fails, it would be catastrophic and could take weeks to replace and program. A new unit costs $55,000. RMA, through a donation and efforts on Paul’s behalf, has acquired and configured a backup CMTS which is now mounted and ready for action.
260-AMP SERVICE
Through a donation from Summerfest, RMA was able to install a new 260-amp service at Stonehouse Park – an upgrade that was sorely needed.
12
4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION
RMA Staff pulled off another stunning 4th of July celebration.
LAKE CLEMENTIA SWIM COVE
RMA Maintenance dredged the Lake Clementia Swim Cove removing debris which impedes swimmers.
13
RIVER ACCESS
RMA worked with the PTF, CSD and neighboring ranchers to reopen the river access.
SMUD LIGHT POLES
RMA Staff worked with SMUD in an attempt to acquire the street light poles in the community in order to provide better maintenance and lighting. Attempts to acquire the poles were unsuccessful. However, the end result was positive with SMUD reviewing their maintenance procedures and testing all 158 wooden poles. SMUD replaced 61 of those poles in 2013 with the balance to be replaced in 2014.
TENNIS COURTS
14
Staff had planned to replace the Riverview Tennis Courts in 2013. However as due diligence was conducted on the site via soil tests, the scope of the repair has changed from complete replacement to an overlay.
ESCUELA PARK PRACTICE FIELD
The grading permit delayed work on the site. The permit is being reviewed by Sacramento County.
