Dear CPA Community,

A CPA education is about shared life experiences that facilitate the transformation and maturity of the hearts and minds of young people. Thank you for what you give to make this education possible for our students.

We realize transformation and maturity are a process, and we deeply believe we, as a school, can play a significant role. Our holistic process begins with creating a life-giving atmosphere - an atmosphere of pursuant love, reciprocal trust, and authentic relationships. This atmosphere facilitates rich and challenging shared experiences that teach skills essential for the 21st century world. When led by amazing educators who love students, this process develops and refines the character of each student, uniquely and according to his or her design. This continued cycle of transformational education is how students can mature in an understanding of who God is, discover and hone their God-given gifts, and begin to see their part in God’s larger story of redemption.

The CPA Report on Giving is more than numbers and graphs. As I read the donor list, review the charts, and see the participation percentages, I am incredibly grateful for your sacrificial giving that makes this educational process a reality, and I am humbled and encouraged by the commitment to our mission expressed by your financial support.

Ultimately, when our students finish their journey in this place, they will have learned how to integrate their faith and their work; they will confront issues of mercy and justice; understand the context of their life and how to live a public faith; and, by God’s grace, direction, and power, they will be effective in shaping and growing our contemporary culture for the renewal of His kingdom.

As stewards of your contributions, it is important for us to communicate how we allocate your tuition dollars and gifts to the Academy. We hope you will review this report and contact us with any questions. Thank you for the numerous financial gifts, the countless volunteer hours, and most important, the heartfelt prayers, that benefit the students at Christ Presbyterian Academy - now, and in the future.

Dear CPA Community,

We are excited to share our first CPA Report on Giving with you. Our ultimate goal is to bring God the honor and glory through all we do at CPA. We hope this report will grant you a picture of the dollars raised in the past year and the ways we have allocated those dollars under the guidance of the CPA Board of Trustees and the leadership team to enhance and improve the CPA experience for our students. Most important, we want to thank you for your generous contributions to and investments in the Academy over the past year.

In this report, you will find an overview of our financials, including all income and expenses for the Academy in the past year. We have provided a breakdown of charitable contributions made through gifts to the Academy. We also highlight the top giving priorities at the Academy for the 2013-14 school year—the CPA Annual Fund, the Believe Capital Campaign, and the CPA Endowment. Finally, we will end with a list of the generous donors who made a gift to the Academy from July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014.

Everything included in this report is a clear testament to all God is doing through CPA, and we are so thankful for the many families who continue to build on this foundation for years to come.

Blessings,

Cal C. CookDirector of Development and Alumni Relations

Gifts to the CPA Endowment are crucial to the long-term financial health of the Academy.

A strong endowment helps to provide financial sustainability to continue our mission of

transformational education.

An endowment gift is one of the most powerful gifts you can make.

The Believe Capital Campaign concluded

on December 31, 2013. The campaign

encompassed many improvements

on our campus. The new high school

building was the most visible change with

85,000 square feet of educational space.

Over $787,000 was raised through the

completion plan during the 2013 fiscal

year, for a total of almost $11,000,000

toward the $13,000,000 campaign goal.

The balance of the campaign is being

funded through a loan serviced through

the Academy’s operating budget and is on

plan to be completed by 2018.
