What is it? Have you ever:

looked around your church, ministry or community,

identified a need, thought, “Hmmm, I wonder

if there oughta be a ____ to help meet that need?”

These thoughts emerge from our observation of the living system.

Why is it useful? These thoughts emerge from what we are

learning about the living system. Almost invariably, these thoughts are exactly

what the living system is “asking” you to do. If you apply some faith and

prayer to these thoughts, you may discover that this is what God wants, too.

What do you do with this thought? Pray and ask God what he thinks Talk to others in your

church or ministry, and see if they resonate with the idea

Do some initial applied research about the idea to see if it is really needed

Be willing to let go, if this is not God’s purpose or his timing
