 TRAINING

BHI Training, formerly Mid-Atlantic Training Resources, is focused on “Real-World” hands-ontraining for today’s modern tactical unit. Our combined facilities and personnel create secure, discreet, and realistic training for federal agencies, military units, private security companies and

local/state law enforcement ofcers to train for continually changing environments. In support of the broader Blackheart International mission to provide comprehensive

logistics and equipment solutions to defense and law enforcement clients, the company operatesBlackheart International Training under the Blackheart International umbrella. The primarymission of BHI Training is to provide top-level tactical training to select U.S. military units, security and law enforcement personnel.

BHI Training courses comprise both classroom instruction and hands-on training coveringNon-Standard (former Soviet-Bloc) and NATOweapons familiarization, sniper shooting, armorer,

hostage rescue, and surveillance detection andavoidance, to name a few of the course offerings.BHI Training also provides tactical law enforcementtraining such as defensive pistol, defensive rie, sniper, SWAT, and qualication training for lawenforcement personnel. In addition, the companyhas developed several civilian security trainingprograms. Some examples include private

executive security training for personnel tasked with providing security to high-risk, high-valuetargets (corporate executives, politicians, diplomats, etc.), carry-concealed weapon certication, and family security/defense programs.

All courses are managed at Blackheart International Training’s private facilities. The company has an expansive outdoor range to conduct live-re training for everything from

defensive pistol and close-quarter battle, to crew-served machine guns. For SWAT, hostage extraction and certain other close-quarter training programs, BHI Training

has a converted ve-story hospital. This facility, with its multiple levels, tight quarters, numerousrooms and hallways, gives students the most realistic training environment possible. To furtherenhance the realism and provide students with that “extra edge”training component, role-playing (live actors portraying “badguys”) and simunition (simulated ammunition) are often used todeliver with real-world combat simulation.

All Blackheart International Training programs are conductedby former U.S. Army Special Forces personnel who haveextensive backgrounds in military special operations, combat, training and law enforcement, and are current subject matterexperts in their elds. As a result of their expertise, facilities andregional proximity to Washington, D.C. and northern Virginia, thecompany is one of the leading tactical training operations in the

U.S., and is the leading operation in the eastern U.S. for Non-Standard Weapon (former Soviet-Bloc) training.

Instructor Development:

Instructor Development

As we have developed as a training provider, we have seen a vast selection of instructors across

the market. Noting the lack of true training methodology understanding in the majority ofthe training providers, we are offering an instructor development strategy to standardize andelevate the provided training of others. This course does not have to be weapons-specic as it isan overall development of how an instructor prepares and presents their material so that adultlearners can quickly and correctly pick up the new skill and continue to develop this skill. Thiscourse can be applied to all instructors of any subject.
