Women are starting ventures faster than any other segment of business owners across the nation as well as in the state of Oklahoma.Women are starting ventures faster than any other segment of business owners across the nation as well as in the state of Oklahoma.Women are starting ventures faster than any other segment of business owners

For the past two decades, women-owned fi rms have grown at nearly two times the rate of all fi rms and currently, 50% of all U.S. businesses are owned by women. Women-owned businesses contribute an estimated $3 trillion to our national economy and are responsible for 23 million jobs. These fi rms have contributed signifi cantly to economic development, policy making and private investment directed towards all women-owned business. Studies have also shown that approximately 6.5% of the total work force stems from women-owned fi rms.

The Women Entrepreneurs Inspire Conference (WE Inspire) is a celebration of these achievements. WE Inspire will bring together an amazing network of women entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs. This fi rst annual event will inspire hundreds of women to pursue their passions, think big, and turn their dreams into reality.

WE Inspire 2010 is a one day event that explores the unique obstacles, demands and challenges women face when creating and growing their own ventures. Issues at all stages of entrepreneur-ship are explored. The day will feature keynote addresses by leading women entrepreneurs from across the nation and from Oklahoma. Hands-on breakout sessions will examine a range of practi-cal issues designed to enable women to act on their dreams. The breakouts will include two tracks: start-up and growth. The start-up track will focus on creating your own venture, while the growth track emphasizes ways to grow your venture once it is up and running. WE Inspire will also fea-ture a special keynote on social entrepreneurship---- inspiration for creating profi ts from a per-sonal talent or passion, and lessons on “doing well and doing good”. WE Inspire promises to be an exciting opportunity for learning, networking and for tapping your entrepreneurial potential.

Please join us for a day of Inspiration!
