to our valued collectors, retailers, distributors and media partners:
We are pleased to present to you our first tWH collectibles catalog. As a marketing company that
specializes in building brands through museum class replicas, we have designed this catalog to be
consistent with our mission – to honor the brands that we proudly represent.
Since our business began in 2004, we have had the privilege of partnering with industry-leading
companies. these relationships seem to have a common thread, binding us together with a mutual goal
to be the best at what we do. the highest compliment we can receive is that we have replicated a machine
and represented a brand with perfection.
the outpouring of support from our partners has been amazing in recent years. Passionate collectors
have a high regard for our models, and we are so thankful. We are equally as grateful for our retail and
distribution partners who took a risk on a new tWH line several years ago. We are also much obliged for
the constant edification and encouragement from our media partners.
We didn’t build a company alone, and it is with the continued building of relationships that we move forward.
enjoy your walk through the tWH collectibles 2009 collection.

the goal at conexpo 2005,
the debut of tWH’s first lattice
boom crawler crane, was to
generate 50 pre-orders. the
Manitowoc 18000 is a massive
model. it stands almost 6 feet
tall—11 feet with the optional
extension kit. the latticework
is comprised of individually
welded brass rods, mimicking
the technique on the real
machine boom. the lower works
feature equally discriminating
detail. “Best in class detail at
an affordable price” was the
promise at conexpo 2005,
eventually leading to 250 pre-
orders that week.

letourneau technologies can trace its beginnings back to R.G. letourneau. considered the dean of high-
speed earth-moving equipment, he first started building scrapers of his own design in the early 1920s.
Headquartered in longview, texas, lti specializes in the design and manufacturing of heavy equipment
and power systems, utilizing advanced technologies for the oil and gas drilling, forestry, offshore marine,
power, steel and mining markets across the globe.
today, lti holds true to the vision of R.G. letourneau. From giant off-shore oil drilling rig platforms, to the
world’s largest rubber-tired wheel loader, the name letourneau is recognized around the world as a builder
of giant machines designed to tackle the largest job challenges imaginable.

Since 1884, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has been the home of P&H Mining equipment. originally established
as the firm of Pawling & Harnischfeger, the company’s first true heavy industrial marketplace success was
in the manufacture of overhead electric cranes. to diversify its offerings, the company started to develop
and introduce several types of trenching excavators around 1911. in 1914, the company introduced its first
dragline excavator. P&H’s first electric powered mining shovel debuted in 1933.
now P&H Mining is considered a global leader in the manufacture and service of pace-setting large
excavating and drilling machines with ninety percent of the world’s surface mines utilizing P&H equipment.

the detail of 1:50 to the compact
scale of 1:87. it’s a bit strange to
see an otherwise impressively
large machine, displayed under

is the goal of the XPB model

the first model out of the hanger in the long-awaited
oshkosh 1:50 model series was the P-Series Snow
Plow. trusted by airports all over the globe, this beast
of a truck makes a truly original model. Replicating the
air ride seats and the metal oshkosh logo above the
grill was interesting, but the challenge was engineering
the curvature of the translucent resin plow blade to its
metal frame. the true reward, however, was not in the
accomplishments of the model, but rather in the reaction
of the fine people at oshkosh when they first laid eyes on it.

Gary Vermeer established Vermeer Manufacturing company in Pella, iowa, in 1948. now, more than five
decades later, Vermeer has developed many “firsts” including the world’s first large round hay baler, tree
spade and stump cutter. Since its inception, Vermeer corporation has grown from a one-person iowa
operation, to an international organization that manufactures agricultural, construction, environmental
and industrial equipment.
the Vermeer 4P philosophy of principles, people, products and profit, strongly reflects the company’s
character. this character is the solid foundation of Vermeer, built on decisions established in the past and
steadfast planning for the future.
