Action Group Consist primarily of program managers but also of

researchers/experts Starting-point is the expression of interest for a cooperation of

three or more ENT partners (variable geometry)

One country takes the lead and starts the process by drafting a position paper (background information)

A series of meetings and workshops follows MoU (or a similar document) will be signed containing a commitment

of countries for a cooperation and financing ENT accompanies and supports

the activities permanently (organisation, moderation, background information)

Tailored procedures needed!

Contacts to the colleagues in other European countries Up to date information about R&D activities

o in other countries

o and in the EC

Exchange of best-practise information on programming and cooperation Exchange of evaluators Support for the development of national R&D strategies and programmes New opportunities for national R&D – trans-national cooperation

Effects Improved quality of R&D results Increased efficiency of public funds
