Conesa Group was founded in 1976 with entirely private capital, and its main activity processing tomatoes.

With an input capacity of 6,500 tons / day of fresh tomatoes, and a processing capacity of 340,000 tons per year, CONESA is the leader in its sector in Spain, Portugal and the second European processor. This represents approximately 100,000 tons of tomato concentrate from 6 to 36 Brix, some 24,000 tons of diced tomatoes and some 7,000 tons of tomato powder.

As an additional activity, Conesa has developed in recent years a significant effort on R + D + i, which has led him to have a wider range of products such as cooking sauces, aseptic onion, derived from olives or a new line of products designed for baking, white sauces and new packagings like stick pack.

Improving and introducing the latest technology in the area of cultivation, and tomato processing is our goal, guided by the concept of QUALITY and SERVICE. The result is the guarantee of high quality products to meet the requirements and needs of our customers.

Conesa Group is located in the town of Badajoz in south-western Spain; it is one of the most important producing areas in the world, since 90% of tomatoes processed in Spain are grown here.

Astex

We manufacture our products with top quality ingredients and careful production processes, to obtain a home-made tomato pasta sauce.

Astex is a private business, founded in 1992 by Conesa. Our tomatoes, grown in ideal conditions and slowly ripened under the

Extremadura sun, are the raw material that's used to make the Mediterranean diet's traditional dishes and sauces. With the best tomatoes form the Vega del Guadiana, Astex has developed products following traditional recipes and only using natural products.

Private Label

Astex has an in-house Research and Development Department at our customer's service, developing all sorts of sauces, specializing in tomato pasta sauce.

Thanks to the experience that we've acquired in different

markets since 1992, plus the development of our wide variety of products designed together with our customers, we have obtained a large range of tomato sauces that are inspired in traditional recipes.
