pump and the outlet tube arenormally hot during and afteroperation.

Operation of the air compressorshould always be in a positionthat is stable. Never use the aircompressor on a rooftop orelevated position that could allowthe unit to fall or be tipped over.Use additional air hose forelevated jobs.

Always wear approved safetyglasses with side shields whenthe air compressor is in use.Turn off the air compressor anddrain the air tank beforeperforming any type ofmaintenance or disassembly ofthe hoses or fittings. Never pointany nozzle or sprayer toward anypart of the body or at otherpeople or animals.

Avoid using the air compressorin confined areas. Always haveadequate space (1 foot) on allsides of the air compressor. Alsokeep children, pets, and othersout of the area of operation. Thisair compressor does not providebreathable air for anyone or anyauxiliary breathing device.Spraying material will alwaysneed to be in another area awayfrom the air compressor to notallow intake air to damage the aircompressor filter.

Never utilize the air compressorin the rain or wet conditions. Anyelectrical issues or repairsshould be performed byauthorized personnel such as anelectrician and should comply

with all national and localelectrical codes. The aircompressor should also have theproper three prong groundingplug, correct voltage, andadequate fuse protection.

Never operate the compressornear combustible materials, gasoline or solvent vapors. Ifspraying flammable materials, locate the air compressor at least50m away from the spray area.Never operate the aircompressor indoors or in aconfined area.

Always drain the air compressortank daily or after each use. Ifthe tank develops a leak, thenreplace the air compressor.Never use the air compressorafter a leak has been found ortried to make any modificationsto the tank. Never modify the aircompressor's factory settingswhich control the tank pressureor any other function.

INSTALLATION ANDASSEMBLY

This compressor requires nolubrication or oiling. No break inprocedure is required.

This air compressor shouldalways be operated in a clean, dry and well ventilatedenvironment. The unit shouldhave a minimum of one footspace on each side. The air filtershould be free of debris and dirt.

Extension CordsUse only a 3 wire extensioncord that has a 3 bladegrounding plug and a 3 slotreceptacle. Make sure theextension cord is in goodcondition. When using anextension cord, be sure touse one heavy enough tocarry the current thecompressor needs. Cordsmust not exceed 25 feet andshould be No. 12 AWG size.An undersize cord will causea drop in line voltage resultingin a loss of power andoverheating.Start Up1. Set the On/Off switch tothe off position.2. Check the air compressorvisually for any damage orobstruction.3. Close the drain valve.4. Plug the power cord intothe proper receptacle.5. Turn the On/Off switch tothe On position and thecompressor should start andbuild air pressure in the tankto cut-out pressure and thenshut off automatically.6. Adjust the regulator to aPSI setting that isrecommended for yourapplication.7. The air compressor is nowready for use.Turn Off1. Set the Auto-On/Off leverto the Off position.2. Unplug the power cordfrom the receptacle.

3. Set the outlet pressure to zeroon the regulator.4. Remove any air tools oraccessories.5. Open the drain valve allowingair to bleed from the tank. Afterall of the air has bled from thetank, close the drain valve toprevent debris buildup in thevalve.

Water that remains in the tankduring storage will corrode andweaken the air tank, which couldcause the tank to rupture. Toavoid serious injury, be sure todrain the tank after each use ordaily.

Check the tank safety valve, andair filter before each use.
