ISRAEL UPDATE JUNE 19, 2020Urge Members of Congress to Support U.S.-Israel Health Cooperation to Combat COVID-19Israel is a world leader in medical innovation, and increased U.S.-Israel collaboration will greatly benefit the American public. S. 3722 and H.R. 6829—authored by Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Chris Coons (D-DE) in the Senate and Reps. Chris Pappas (D-NH), Lance Gooden (R-TX), Tom Suozzi (D-NY) and David Kustoff (R-TN) in the House—would create a U.S.-Israel grant program to promote key innovative solutions to COVID-19 and other health problems. The program would be funded equally by the U.S. and Israel, with potential matching private sector funding. Since AIPAC’s National Council lobbied members of Congress earlier this month, more than 95 House members have cosponsored this bipartisan legislation. Urge your members of Congress to support these important bipartisan measures.

K.I. partners with AIPAC, America’s pro-Israel lobby, in educating our community on issues affecting the U.S.-Israel relationship. Learn more by visiting www.aipac.org or contacting AIPAC at 202.639.5200.
