The Points System!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!• Points vary from 1-6 per event/meeting.• Upcoming events will display points as follows:

• “Become a National Member” (5)

• Points will be used:• 20 points = 1 Conference Registration• $3/point towards a conference after that• Remaining Points: end of the year raffle• 15 points can “Rollover” to the next year

• This year, University of Arizona SWE will be offering 5 National first-time memberships to section members.

• Visit our Website: www.uaswe.co.nr and click “Forms” to fill out the “SWE National Membership Application”

• Deadline for the application is 11:45pm on Friday, September 17th. Winners announced over the listserv on September 20th! No points are awarded to winners.

• Every Tuesday from 6:30-7:30, Society of Women Engineers students will play indoor soccer at the Rec Center. Meet on the SE corner of Highland and 6th Street (in front of the old entrance)

• Specific Officers’ workout times will be e-mailed over the listserv. If you would like to lead a weekly SWEat workout, please contact Amber Luttman at [email protected]

• “Get Ripped!” on September 16th

• “POPCYCLE” on October 21st

• “Aveda Workshop” on November 18th

• All events are at 6pm in the WISE Conference Room (925 N. Tyndall), but may change

Outreach Events (vary)

•New Student Welcome, 9/17 @ 9am-11am (1pt/hr)

•Suite with SWE is October 17th & 18th

•Set-up-Tour, approx. 1pm-5pm (2pts)

•Dinner & Evening Activities (1pt)

•Hosting—must live on campus (1pt/girl)

•Class Visits (1pt/class)

•Lab Tours (3pts/lab—max. of 6)

•General Outreach:

•1 point per hour, not including travel

•1 point for driving at least two other SWE members
