PERSONAL WORD FROM PASTOR BROWN It is my pleasure to introduce to you Abundant Waters School of Ministerial Excellence or as we like to refer to it as AWSOME. This school has been birthed from the experience of being a missionary and also preaching and teaching God’s word in 23 countries, including the United States. The purpose of the school is to partner with other ministers and ministries overseas and develop “disciples and ministers that will change their world.” This school will challenge those who attend to be all that God has called them to be. I pastor a church in Houston, Texas, in the United States and I believe in the local church. This school will help to develop believers where they can serve in the local church and go out and take the gospel to others. It will help you to strengthen your church and also help you to fulfill your God-given mandate. My prayer is that this school will be a blessing to those who attend and they will go forth in the name of the Lord and further the purposes of the kingdom of God. The Host School can charge tuition for each student that attends. This will help them to cover their costs for hosting the school. Our desire is to help those who want to have a good quality school and make it affordable to them. We see it as a missions outreach that we sow into other countries around the world and help other ministers and believers. Note: many of the Host Schools do not charge a tuition fee to the students. In return we ask that each Hosting School be dedicated to the Lord and also to the vision of AWSOME. We ask that you be a person of honesty and integrity that will further the purposes of AWSOME and the Kingdom of God. There will be some ministers that will be interested in hosting the school that I do not know. The bible tells us to know those who labor among us (I Thessalonians 5:12). Because I don’t know them I need another minister friend that does know them to fill out the Letter of Recommendation form and send it to our International Office. The questions that are asked are not meant to get into all of their personal affairs. They are questions that we need to have answered so that we know that we have ministers of truth and integrity.

I Timothy 3:1-7 gives us the requirements that should be in ministers lives and their families. If someone is not qualified it will bring reproach to the kingdom of God (I Timothy 3:7) and hurt the work of God. Paul said in I Timothy 5:22 to lay hands suddenly on no one and not to partake of other men’s sins. Paul meant for us to take our time when ordaining people for the ministry or putting them into an office in the church. God set this standard not to be mean but so that the church would have quality workers. This is our same desire and purpose. We want to develop quality ministers and believers that will change their world. If ministers go through both years of the school and graduate they will be eligible for licensing through Abundant Waters Fellowship provided that they meet all the necessary requirements. I am extremely excited about AWSOME and know that it will be a great blessing to those who attend. VISION OF ABUNDANT WATERS SCHOOL OF MINISTERIAL EXCELLENCE (A.W.S.O.M.E.)

In January of 1991, my family and I moved to the Philippines Islands as missionaries. We served there for one year. While there I worked with an organization that had about 12 churches. I preached in their churches, held small crusades, held pastor seminars and also had a radio broadcast. I saw firsthand the hunger in the hearts of the ministers and also the great effectiveness it produced in training the pastors. When you reach the pastor you can reach the whole congregation. When we came home in 1992 I could not get away from a vision that I had in my heart. I had a desire to help pastors, bible school students, and other believers to grow in their relationship with God. After being back in the United States for 16 months the Lord led us to start a church. We started our church with a desire to win the lost and turn them into disciples. We made a decision to make our church one that would reach out to the world and touch other nations. The Lord instructed me in 1995 to start writing teaching books and have them translated into other languages. I began to do this and we have now translated these books into four different languages. We have been able to give over 60,000 books in 24 foreign countries. I have received many testimonies of the effectiveness of these books that have been given to pastors in foreign countries. The books are being used in Sunday Schools, Bible Schools, churches and Pastor’s Seminars in many parts of the world. The success of the books is simply that they are meeting a real need which is a hunger in their hearts to know more about God, and fulfill His plan for their lives. While living in the Philippines, I also saw many who desired to go to Bible School but simply were not able to go because of finances. Many times they were required to move to another city which just would not work for them. Because of this many believers who have a desire to be discipled and trained for ministry are not able to receive that training. The Lord has given us a vision and plan whereby pastors and believers can be trained in their cities and towns without having to move. This keeps them at home where they can still work and be with their family but also receive good Bible training from a local school. At the same time it is not expensive for a student to attend. By addressing their major needs it helps to provide a way for ministers and believers to attend a good Bible School that will train and disciple them for ministry.

HOW DOES IT WORK Abundant Waters Fellowship is the church that I pastor in Houston, Texas. All of the teachings that will be used in Abundant Waters School of Ministerial Excellence (hereinafter referred to as A.W.S.O.M.E.) were recorded on Audio Cassette tapes and DVD’s in our home church. We duplicate the DVD’s or cassettes and send them along with the teaching outline notebook to the host school. SCHOOLS RESPONSIBILITY The first thing that needs to happen is a pastor or minister must submit an application to be accepted as a Host Pastor/ Minister for A.W.S.OM.E. [Application form can be down loaded or be mailed to you] Once the application is filled out and you are accepted, you must provide an Audio Cassette player or a color television set with a DVD player, and a facility with electricity to host the school. Note: In some cases we also provide the DVD player. The purchase of an Audio Cassette Player or a Color TV and DVD player, along with electricity used at the facility, will be the major expenses you will have for hosting the school. There will be other minor expenses such as making copies and sending paperwork to the International Office in Houston. Also, there needs to be a graduation ceremony with cap and gown. All of the above expenses can be met by charging a tuition fee to each of the students. If the overseas schools are able, we ask you to take up a love offering once a month to sow back into the International Office of A.W.S.O.M.E. This will help us to plant more schools around the world. This is not a requirement but a free will offering. I know that A.W.S.O.M.E. will be a great tool to develop pastors, leaders, and believers in your local church and your city as well. My desire could best be described by Paul in II Timothy 2:2 which states “And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” If your desire is to see men and women trained for ministry, then I encourage you to fill out the application. THE SIMPLE PROCESS TO HOSTING A SCHOOL

1. Must send in Responsibilities of Affiliates Agreement form, Host School Application and Letter of Recommendation For Hosting AWSOME. The Letter of Recommendation must be sent in by the minister recommending you. Send to {AWSOME 17810 French Road Houston, Texas 77084 USA} or e-mail: deeb25@sbcglobal.net All three of these forms must be in the International Office before an Affiliate School can be approved.

2. Once you have been approved we will e-mail you and let you know you have

been accepted. 3. You must provide color TV, DVD player or Audio Cassette Player and a facility to host the school. 4. Have each student fill out these forms: Student Application for Admission and Students Requirements for AWSOME. keep these at the Host School. Make copies of both forms for your Regional or National Director. Send a list of the student’s names and a group picture to the A.W.S.O.M.E. Home Office by mail or e-mail. Note: You must have 12 students to host AWSOME. 5. Once we have received the students names and a group picture of the students we will then send you the teachings on DVD or Audio Cassette Tapes, along with the Teaching Outline Notebook. *You should do 4 classes per week. It would be best to do them all on one day. 6. You must give each student a Welcome to AWSOME letter. 7. Classes will begin. We encourage you to do 4 lessons a week. With 99 lessons that will take you a little over 6 months to complete the course. Note: If you want to do more than 4 lessons per week please make note of that on Host School Application. And also let us know if you want the DVDs or Audio Cassette Tapes. 8. The first semester test will be given after lesson 50. 9. The second semester test will be given after lesson 99. 10. Eight weeks before school terms ends we need to have the names of those who will be graduating and the graduation date. This information can be E-mailed to us so we can complete and sign the graduation certificates and have them mailed to you.

11. Cap and gown graduation to be done no later than 15 days after school term finished. 12. Need to send a group picture of the graduating class to the International Office in Houston. 13. Also, need to help students to become doers of what they are learning. It is important to get the students involved in evangelism, prison ministry, hospital visitation and other ministry opportunities. It is important

to learn but more important to practice what you have learned). 14. Send in every month The AWSOME Report Form. This will help us to know how the school is doing and if there are any specific problems. 15. It is recommended that each Hosting School have someone to assist the Host

Minister in preparing the materials needed for each class and keeping the records that are to be sent to the Houston Office. This person can be one of the students and will be called the School Dean.

Responsibilities of the School Dean 1. Setting up the class room with TV/DVD player or Audio Cassette Player. 2. Have each person sign in on the Student Sign In Form for each class. 3. Give each student a copy of the Teaching material. 4. If a student has missed a class, assist in helping the student review the lessons

at another time. 5. Four Lessons are set up on the Students Sign In Form. Recommend you make a extra copy for any student who had to miss so they can sign in for the class. 6. Be in prayer for the students as the Lord leads. 7. Set up a short prayer time for all the students to attend at the beginning of

each day before the classes start. 8. Send a group picture of students so we can pray for them.

9. Monthly Reports to be kept at Host School and if you have a Regional or National Director a copy is to be sent to them.

Discipleship Report Form, Host School Report Form, Students Sign In Form 10. The (AWSOME Monthly Report Form) must be e-mailed by the 5th of the

month to deeb25@sbcglobal.net by the Host Pastor or National Director. 11. Choose Honor Student, by the student’s character, faithfulness to participate

in ministry outreach, example to other students, spiritual growth, faithful attendance, discipleship report forms and test grade.

12. Arrange for Graduation Day with cap and gown ceremony event 13. E-mail date of graduation with students name printed for the Diploma. 14. The Diploma will be mailed out to you. This needs to be in the Houston office

eight weeks before school term ends. 15. Send a Group Picture of Graduation students to the Houston office and any

paper work due. Note: {can be Mailed or E-Mailed} 16. The Honor Student name so he/she can receive a set of Pastor’s books. If you haven’t already gotten your students enrolled you could have a date for nothing but to enroll students and show the people the DVD. They can also hear it on Audio Cassette Tape. Pastor Brown explains about the AWSOME Bible School and welcomes all of the Host Schools and students. Then the next week start the Lessons 1-4, and continue each week with the next 4. So if members from other churches come to your school you will receive tuition from them which will benefit you at the same time you are being a blessing to another church in your area by training their leaders.

religion and only brings bondage. However, we will ask that the students build their life on God’s word and adorn (to beautify) the Gospel. We expect them to be good examples of Christianity. Students must attend every class and complete tests to graduate. They must sign their name on the Sign In Sheet for every class. (This will help you keep records of the students at each class)

9. Must provide some kind of ministry opportunity to students (hospital,

visitation, door to door witnessing, street evangelism, etc.) 10. All paperwork must be done on time (Discipleship Report Form, Host School
