Wilson McLean (born 1937) is a Scottish illustrator and artist. He has illustrated primarily in the field of advertising, but has also provided cover art for music albums, sports magazines (including Sports Illustrated), novels (such as If the Earth...Were a Few Feet in Diameter), and other commercial endeavors.His art, often in the surreal vein, has won him several awards, including four gold medals from the Society of Illustrators, a gold medal from the New York Art Directors Club, a prestigious Clio for his work in advertising. His illustrations have also been featured on four United States postage stamps.

McLean began his artistic career at a London screen-printing store at the age of fifteen years. He soon began attending a night-school for aspiring artists on his free time. After graduating from the art school, McLean worked as a freelance illustrator for the publishing and advertising industry. He moved to New York in 1966 and has since taught at the School of Visual Arts and Syracuse University.

He currently lives in Long Island with his longtime companion Rosemary Howard.
