Also some of ladies are in UK and we need to get more information about them and get their opinions and furtherer information they have about that glorious work they have done in 1971. No one else, other than those ladies can give the best information about those days and their work experience.

We need to trace them and not only just get the information But also we – Our Community , Villages and Cultural associations should honour them on the occasion of yearly celebration.

As far I remember, VIRBAI, D/o Jivbai was talking to me before 25 years ago as “Hu (Virbai) kam karti tyare Bhuj no arodram repair karva gaya hata.” Means she was in the group but names are missing from the list. We need the confirmation from you or your relatives.

Similarly as far I remember other name are also missing. But we always need confirmation from family members.

When ever a golden story is said about 1971 war Virangana ladies of Madhapar we remembers those ladies of KANBI of Madhapar who repaired the military runway during continuous bombardment which was destroyed by Pakistani bombing and all were moving out of BHUJ. Destroyed air force runway was repaired on next day battle. But was that the only story written in golden history? We have a one more story of India Pakistan war

A totally BLIND Brahmin person named CHUNILAL MAHARAJ with a DHOTI KURTA, has reached to border in the RANN of Kutch where he was stopped by a military personnel and was asked 1) Where he is going to? * CHUNILAL said “I am going to KANJAR KOT – KANJAR KOT HAMARA hai” 2) Personnel said You can not see and firing is going on and you will be injured. And you can not protect yourself, why you are putting your life at risk?** Don’t worry at least that will make their waste of at least on Bullet to kill me rather than injuring to our soldier so at least I will be able to save at least OUR one soldier!!!
